ส.อ.ท. จัดประชุมและงานเลี้ยงสังสรรค์ปีใหม่คณะกรรมการFTI Holds New Year Gathering and Committee Meeting

On Friday, February 28, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized the 2nd Committee meeting of the Federation of Thai Industries (11) for the year 2025, presided over by Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of FTI, along with Mr. Thavee Piyapathana, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Mr. Sompong Nakhonsri, Senior Vice Chairman of FTI, Mr. Itthares Rattanadilok na Phuket, Vice Chairman of FTI, and Mr. Krittan Imsaeng, Secretary-General of FTI, as well as the Committee members of FTI, at Room 208-209 (2nd floor) of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

During the meeting, important and beneficial agenda were presented for the industrial sector, as follows:

1. Summary of the FTI Expo 2025 held from February 12-15, 2025, which attracted more than 58,128 attendees over the four days, generating an overall economic value of over 2.529 billion baht.

2. Approval to change the name of the aviation, intelligent air transport, and space industry group to the aviation and space industry group.

3. Proposal to respond to U.S. policies and the impact of the trade war.

4. Summary of the Business at OECD (BIAC) General Assembly 2025 and work plans of OECD and BIAC.

5. Signing of the MOU between the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Laos.

6. Progress on the FTI Annual General Meeting 2025 scheduled for Monday, March 31, 2025, from 09:00-12:00 at Ballroom 1-2, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Level 1, including a special lecture from distinguished speakers, as well as communication channels for attendance confirmation via LINE OA of the Federation of Thai Industries / website www.fti.or.th / invitation letters (scan QR Code or email or send by post).

7. Update on addressing the challenges faced by industrial groups and provincial industrial federations / industrial clusters.

8. Promotion of the Digital Skills project through the Digital Skill Certification exam.

The meeting also congratulated Mr. Kriangkrai on his appointment as a member with distinguished qualifications on the Committee of the Water Resources Information Institute.

Additionally, two new executives and staff members of FTI were introduced:

1. Dr. Watit Kaewwaenoi, Director of the Packaging and Recycling Management Institute for the Environment.

2. Miss Janya Khathana-ngern, Acting Director of Membership Registration Division.

Following the meeting, a New Year gathering for the FTI Committee for the year 2025 was held from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Rooms 210-211, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, to express gratitude to the Committee for their dedication to work in 15 areas and 11 institutes of the Federation of Thai Industries, as well as industrial groups and provincial industrial federations that contributed to the continuous growth of the Thai industry throughout the past year under the theme “Glamourous New Year Celebrities” with performances from industrial groups of the provincial industrial federations and YOUNG FTI.

Moreover, numerous prizes were awarded to attendees of the event, as follows:
