Seven key issues were identified, including workforce development, energy cost reduction, and additional proposals from local operators to drive concrete solutions.

นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธาน ส.อ.ท. รายงานดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรมเดือนสิงหาคม 2569 ลดลงสู่ 89.7 ปัจจัยหลักมาจากความเสี่ยงจากสภาพอากาศและต้นทุนการผลิตสูง โดยคาดการณ์ไตรมาสสุดท้ายเศรษฐกิจดีขึ้นด้วยโครงการเร่งการลงทุนและเพิ่มการบริโภคในช่วงปลายปีMrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, President of the FTI, reported that the industrial confidence index for August 2026 decreased to 89.7 due to risks from weather conditions and high production costs. However, the final quarter is expected to see economic improvement driven by accelerated investment projects and increased consumption towards year-end.
