ส.อ.ท. เปิดเวที “เชื่อมใจสภาจังหวัดสัญจร” เชื่อมเครือข่าย เสริมศักยภาพสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดFTI Launches "Connecting the Provincial Councils Roadshow" to Strengthen Regional Industrial Councils

The Provincial Industrial Council Support and Promotion Division of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) continues to strengthen the network of Provincial Industrial Councils through the inaugural Roadshow event "Connecting the Provincial Councils Roadshow", creating a platform to listen to voices from the field and exchange best practices to ensure direct support from the central body to the provinces.

On September 12, 2026, Mr. Phairat Uechuyot, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Council Support and Promotion Division, along with FTI executives including Mr. Sanit Kesuvarn, Mrs. Benjamart Somboon, Vice Chairman of FTI, Mr. Phakorn Wangsirabat, Executive Committee Member of FTI, Mr. Nattakorn Sojindhamani, Deputy Secretary-General of FTI and Secretary of the Provincial Division, Ms. Pawinee Sutthavivat, President of the Central Region Industrial Council, Mr. Jareanchai Chaleokriangkrai, Secretary of the Central Region Industrial Council, and representatives from the Central Region Industrial Council participated in the event with the chairs, committees, and members from the Provincial Industrial Councils of six provinces: Singburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Lopburi, Chai Nat, and Ang Thong to drive three mechanisms: "Revenue–Membership–New Leaders" in the upper central region at Kaseara Restaurant, Singburi Province.

Mr. Phairat stated, "The 'Connecting the Provincial Councils Roadshow' is not merely a meeting, but a platform aimed at listening to voices from the ground to ensure that central support addresses the needs of each province more effectively. FTI is ready to act as a Connector – Enabler – Accelerator to link knowledge, services, and networks to enhance the capabilities of the Provincial Industrial Councils for effective operations."

The discussions revealed that the key issues shared by the six provinces are interlinked across three areas, namely, the income of the provincial councils, the number of members, and the creation of new leaders. Elevating all three aspects simultaneously would help strengthen the network in the long term. Each province also presented their methods and best practices, such as creating member networks, linking public and private sectors, promoting Green Industry, expanding the SME membership base, and developing a new generation of personnel.

The meeting collaboratively proposed the approach "Resolving 3 Issues with 3 Mechanisms," which includes:

1. Revenue Growth: Increase provincial revenue

Develop activities that generate income based on local potential, such as Training, Business Matching, and Study Visits.

2. Membership Growth: Enhance membership value

Drive the process through the Show – Share – Match – Scale approach to exchange models and expand successful results between provinces.

3. Leadership Growth: Develop new leaders

Promote the Young FTI network and a mentoring system to create a leadership pipeline for future executives of the Provincial Industrial Councils.

This event serves as the starting point for connecting the networks of Provincial Industrial Councils to work more collaboratively towards the goal of "Provinces having income – Members growing – Leaders having successors" to ensure the strength of the Provincial Industrial Councils, enabling them to act as mechanisms that link the industrial sector with the government and stakeholders in the area, thereby contributing to sustainable industrial economic development from the provincial to the national level.
