On September 12, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), visited the 74th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. She was welcomed by executives led by Mr. Suriyan Srianthakull, Chairman of the Fashion and Lifestyle Cluster and Chairman of the Jewelry and Gem Industry Group of FTI, along with Mr. Wiboon Hongsrijinda, Vice Chairman of the Advisory Group, and Mr. Sitthisak Limwatanayingyong, Vice Chairman of the Group, to show support for Thai entrepreneurs and to discuss strategies for expanding into international markets.

This trade fair reflects the grandeur and potential of Thailand as a global hub for the jewelry and adornments industry, clearly showcasing an important platform that gathers innovations in production, modern designs, and world-class quality products.

The most outstanding feature is witnessing the capability and creativity of Thai entrepreneurs who can seamlessly integrate the craftsmanship of highly skilled artisans with technology and unique identities.

Thanks to its outstanding potential and continuous adaptation, the jewelry and adornments industry has become robust and is extremely important to the Thai economy, ranking as the third largest export item in the country, generating nearly 900 billion baht in export revenues and playing a crucial role in income distribution and job creation, employing more than 830,000 people nationwide.

Additionally, a key strength of the Thai jewelry industry lies in its comprehensive readiness across the entire system, from upstream to downstream processes, which rely on the distinctive craftsmanship and wisdom of Thai people as an essential driving force.

At the same time, FTI is advancing the policy of The New Chapter of Thai Industry, particularly in the strategy of Innovation & Creative Industry, which aims to promote targeted innovation and creative industries to create added value.
