เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 22 เมษายน 2568 นายทวี ปิยะพัฒนา รองประธานอาวุโส สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายอภิชิต ประสพรัตน์ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และนายธิติ เอกบุญยืน รองประธานสายงานส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัด ส.อ.ท. ได้แถลงข่าวการจัดงาน Eastern Thailand Food Valley 2025 ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 2 - 11 พฤษภาคม 2568 นี้ ณ ลานขนถ่ายสินค้า หน้าองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดจันทบุรี เพื่อแสดงศักยภาพของภาคตะวันออกทั้ง 8 จังหวัด ได้แก่ ชลบุรี ระยอง ฉะเชิงเทรา นครนายก ปราจีนบุรี สระแก้ว จันทบุรี และตราด โดยมีจังหวัดจันทบุรีเป็นศูนย์กลางของ “Food Valley” ของภาคตะวันออก ณ ห้องประชุม 802 Passion ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท
สำหรับไฮไลต์ภายในงาน Eastern Thailand Food Valley 2025 มีดังนี้
•โซน Food Valley นำเสนอความก้าวหน้าด้านนวัตกรรมอาหารจากผู้ประกอบการและสตาร์ทอัพกว่า 80 บูธ
•โซนเทคโนโลยีและเครื่องจักรการเกษตร จำนวน 50 บูธ
•โซนพันธุ์ไม้นานาชนิด กว่า 100 บูธ
•โซนผลิตภัณฑ์แปรรูปไม้ 100 บูธ
•โซนอาหารและสวนสนุก ครบครันกว่า 200 บูธ
กิจกรรมเด่นภายในงาน ประกอบด้วย
•การประกวดทุเรียนพันธุ์อร่อย ชิงถ้วยพระราชทานฯ พร้อมเงินรางวัล
•Talk Tale Event จับคู่เครื่องดื่มสมุนไพรผลไม้กับอาหารท้องถิ่น
•Workshop หัตถกรรมพื้นบ้านและการแปรรูปผลไม้ เช่น การทำเครื่องประดับจากอัญมณี การทอเสื่อ การทอผ้ามัดย้อมจากเปลือกผลไม้และสมุนไพร
•นิทรรศการ Food Valley และผลิตภัณฑ์เด่นจาก SME ภาคตะวันออก
•ตลาดผลไม้คุณภาพ และสินค้าออร์แกนิกจากสวนท้องถิ่น พร้อมกิจกรรม Shop – ชม – ชิม สินค้าแบรนด์ดังในราคาพิเศษ
งานนี้ ถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการยกระดับภาคตะวันออกสู่ศูนย์กลาง “Food Valley Thailand” เปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วนได้เชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ เทคโนโลยี และการค้าสู่ระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมผลักดันการส่งออกผลไม้ไทยด้วยนวัตกรรมที่ยั่งยืน
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Mr. Thavee Piyapathana, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Aphichit Prasoprat, Vice President of FTI, and Mr. Thiti Eakbunyan, Vice President of the Provincial Industrial Council of FTI for Promotion and Support, announced the organization of the Eastern Thailand Food Valley 2025 event, which will be held from May 2 to May 11, 2025, at the Goods Transfer Area in front of the Chanthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. The event aims to showcase the potential of the eastern region comprising eight provinces: Chonburi, Rayong, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat, with Chanthaburi serving as the center of the Eastern “Food Valley” at Meeting Room 802 Passion, 8th floor, FTI.
The highlights of the Eastern Thailand Food Valley 2025 event are as follows:
• The Food Valley zone will showcase food innovation advancements from over 80 booths of entrepreneurs and startups.
• The Technology and Agricultural Machinery zone, featuring 50 booths.
• The Diverse Plant Varieties zone with over 100 booths.
• The Wood Products Processing zone with 100 booths.
• The Food and Entertainment zone, consisting of over 200 booths.
Highlighted activities within the event include:
• Durian Variety Contest for the Royal Trophy, along with cash prizes.
• Talk Tale Event pairing herbal fruit drinks with local food.
• Workshops on traditional crafts and fruit processing, such as making jewelry from gems, weaving mats, and dyeing textiles using fruit peels and herbs.
• Exhibition of Food Valley and outstanding products from SMEs in the eastern region.
• Quality fruit market and organic products from local gardens, along with activities to Shop – View – Taste famous products at special prices.
This event is regarded as a significant platform for elevating the eastern region to become the center of “Food Valley Thailand,” providing opportunities for all sectors to connect knowledge, technology, and trade at an international level, while promoting the export of Thai fruits with sustainable innovations.
