On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Mr. Apichit Prasornrat, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with Mr. Wiboon Hongsrijinda, Chairman of the Gem and Jewelry Industry Group of FTI, inaugurated the Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2025 exhibition at the JGAB Playhouse, LG Floor, Hall 5, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Mr. Apichit expressed his congratulations to Informa Markets Thailand and all partners involved in organizing this valuable and impactful event, successfully achieving an impressive accomplishment. This event serves as a significant platform linking the gem and jewelry industry from across the ASEAN region and nations worldwide, in an atmosphere of knowledge exchange, business opportunity creation, and international cooperation.
Moreover, Mr. Apichit emphasized the vision of the FTI, which is committed to driving the Thai industry towards resilience and sustainability, both nationally and globally, based on the key policy framework “4 GO” as follows:
1. GO Digital & AI – Accelerate the transition to digital and the adoption of artificial intelligence in the industrial sector.
2. GO Innovation – Support research and development, along with innovation, to enhance competitive capabilities.
3. GO Green – Promote sustainable growth based on environmental responsibility.
4. GO Global – Propel Thai entrepreneurs to access and thrive in global markets effectively.
This year, 81 SME operators, who are members of the FTI, participated in this event under the Business Development Service program, receiving over 11.7 million Baht in budget support from the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP). Such collaboration is a clear example of implementing the “4 GO” policy in practice, particularly in promoting GO Global for Thai entrepreneurs.
