เมื่อวันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2568 นายญาณพล ลิมปนะโชคชัย ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-แอฟริกาใต้และกรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. KANGHA Jean-Marc Didier Ehui, Vice President, Regional Representative for West Africa OIECE AISBL, Chief of the Delegation พร้อมด้วยคณะจากสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์ ณ ห้องประชุม PTT group (1012) ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท.
ทั้งนี้ มีผู้แทนจากสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์เข้าร่วม ได้แก่ Mr. BOTTY Adango Edouard (Vice President, Regional Representative for Central Africa, OICED AISBL), Dr. GNANDJI Danielle Patricia (MIRAH Ministry of Animal and Firsheries Resources), Mr. OUATTARA Kanigui Mamadou Hyacinthe (Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ivorian Federation of Small and Meduim-Sized Enterprises (FIPME)) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทน
รัฐบาลสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์แสดงความสนใจในการรับการลงทุนและเทคโนโลยีจากประเทศไทย เพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการเกษตร ประมง ปศุสัตว์ และอุตสาหกรรมยาในประเทศ
สาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์เป็นประเทศที่มีสินค้าเกษตรสำคัญ เช่น โกโก้ อะโวคาโด และเม็ดมะม่วงหิมพานต์ อย่างไรก็ตาม ระบบการผลิตยังพึ่งพาแรงงานคนเป็นหลัก จึงต้องการเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตรจากไทยเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิตและการแปรรูปวัตถุดิบ
ในภาคประมง ชาวโกตดิวัวร์บริโภคปลาเป็นหลัก โดยเฉพาะปลานิลโดยบริโภคมากกว่า 50% ของการบริโภคอาหารประเภทโปรตีนทั้งหมด ทางรัฐบาลของสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์จึงต้องการให้ไทย ซึ่งเป็นประเทศผู้ส่งออกปลานิลรายใหญ่ของโลกเข้ามาร่วมลงทุนด้วย พร้อมผลักดันให้มีข้อตกลงความร่วมมือระดับรัฐด้านการประมงระหว่างสองประเทศ
ด้านปศุสัตว์ เนื่องจากในสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์มีการเลี้ยงโคเป็นจำนวนมาก แต่ไม่มีเทคโนโลยีจึงทำให้ผลผลิตไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ จึงอยากได้เทคโนโลยีจากประเทศไทยเข้ามาช่วยสนับสนุน
ด้านผลิตภัณฑ์ยา ในปัจจุบันสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์สามารถผลิตยาได้เพียง 10% ของความต้องการในประเทศ ซึ่งรัฐเองตั้งเป้าหมายไว้ว่าภายในอีก 5 ปีข้างหน้าต้องการเพิ่มเป็น 30% จึงมีความต้องการเกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีและเครื่องจักรที่ใช้ในการผลิตยา
นอกจากนี้ สินค้าส่งออกจากสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์ส่วนใหญ่ยังคงเป็นวัตถุดิบต้นน้ำซึ่งมีมูลค่าต่ำ เนื่องจากในสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์ยังไม่มีเครื่องจักรสำหรับแปรรูป จึงต้องการเทคโนโลยีและเครื่องจักรจากไทยเพื่อนำไปแปรรูปสินค้าเพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าสินค้า โดยสาธารณรัฐโกตดิวัวร์มีความยินดีที่จะอำนวยความสะดวกแก่นักลงทุนจากต่างประเทศที่จะเข้ามาลงทุน
On May 30, 2025, Mr. Yarnapon Limpanachokchai, Chairman of the Thailand-South Africa Business Council and a board member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with representatives from related industrial sectors, welcomed Mr. KANGHA Jean-Marc Didier Ehui, Vice President, Regional Representative for West Africa OIECE AISBL, Chief of the Delegation, along with a delegation from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire at the PTT group meeting room (1012) on the 10th floor of FTI.
Representatives from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire included Mr. BOTTY Adango Edouard (Vice President, Regional Representative for Central Africa, OICED AISBL), Dr. GNANDJI Danielle Patricia (MIRAH Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources), Mr. OUATTARA Kanigui Mamadou Hyacinthe (Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (FIPME)), along with other delegates.
The government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire expressed interest in receiving investments and technology from Thailand to enhance the capabilities of its agriculture, fisheries, livestock, and pharmaceutical industries.
The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is a country with significant agricultural products, such as cocoa, avocado, and cashew nuts. However, the production system still relies mainly on manual labor; therefore, they seek agricultural machinery from Thailand to improve production efficiency and the processing of raw materials.
In the fisheries sector, Ivorians primarily consume fish, especially tilapia, accounting for over 50% of their protein intake. Thus, the government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire seeks to invite Thailand, a major global exporter of tilapia, to invest and promote a bilateral state-level cooperation agreement on fisheries.
Regarding livestock, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has a large number of cattle but lacks technology, resulting in insufficient production to meet demand; thus, they wish to import technology from Thailand to support their development.
In terms of pharmaceuticals, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire currently produces only 10% of its domestic drug requirements. The government aims to increase this to 30% within the next five years, demonstrating a need for technology and machinery used in drug production.
Moreover, most of the products exported from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire remain raw materials with low value. Due to the absence of processing machinery in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, they seek technology and machinery from Thailand to process these products and enhance their value. The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is pleased to facilitate foreign investors who wish to invest in the country.
