เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2568 ผู้บริหารสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) นำโดยนายปรีดา วัชรเธียรสกุล นายธนาธร ตรงสิทธิวิทู นายธีระพล ติรวศิน และนายพร้อมพร อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา พร้อมด้วยคณะทำงาน เข้าพบ ดร.อรรถวิชช์ สุวรรณภักดี ประธานคณะที่ปรึกษาของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม และทีมผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภายใต้กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งประกอบด้วยสำนักปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม กรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และการนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อหารือแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรม ภายใต้เจตนารมณ์การจัดการของเสียอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน และร่วมแสดงเจตนารมณ์ในงานสัมมนาวิชาการประจำปี ECO Innovation Forum 2025 ณ ห้องประชุม อก.1 ชั้น 2 อาคารสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม
ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมกันพิจารณาแนวทางความร่วมมือ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการภาคอุตสาหกรรมยึดมั่นและปฏิบัติตามกฎหมายและข้อบังคับที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการของเสียอุตสาหกรรมอย่างเคร่งครัด ผ่านมาตรฐานโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเชิงนิเวศสำหรับผู้ประกอบการจัดการของเสีย (Eco Factory for Waste Processor) รวมถึงสนับสนุนขยายเครือข่ายผู้ประกอบของเสียที่เป็นคู่ค้าที่ได้การรับรองมาตรฐานดังกล่าว เพื่อเสริมสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Supply Chain) และลดปัญหากากอุตสาหกรรมในระยะยาว
นอกจากนี้ ยังมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมการประยุกต์ใช้หลักเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนให้ทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดการของเสีย การใช้ประโยชน์วัสดุที่ไม่ใช้แล้วหรือของเสียอุตสาหกรรม ลดปริมาณการฝังกลบ สร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มเกิดความคุ้มค่าในเชิงเศรษฐกิจ และลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกในภาคอุตสาหกรรม
On Monday, June 23, 2025, executives from the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Mr. Prida Wachratheerasakoon, Mr. Thanathorn Trongsitwitthoo, Mr. Theerapol Tirasint, and Mr. Promporn Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya, along with their team, met with Dr. Atthawit Suwanphakdee, Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Minister of Industry, and the management team from agencies under the Ministry of Industry, including the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, the Department of Industrial Works, and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand. The meeting aimed to discuss strategies for advancing industrial development in line with the commitment to sustainable industrial waste management and to express intentions during the annual academic seminar ECO Innovation Forum 2025 at the Meeting Room A.1, 2nd Floor, Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry.
On this occasion, both parties jointly considered collaboration to support industrial operators in adhering to and strictly complying with relevant laws and regulations related to industrial waste management. This includes the Eco Factory for Waste Processor standards for waste management enterprises, as well as the support for expanding networks of certified waste operators to strengthen the Sustainable Supply Chain and reduce industrial waste issues in the long term.
Moreover, there is a focus on promoting the application of circular economy principles across all relevant sectors by enhancing waste management efficiency, utilizing discarded materials or industrial waste, reducing landfill volumes, creating added value for economic efficiency, and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions in the industrial sector.
