วันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2568 นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนคณะกรรมการร่วมภาคเอกชน 3 สถาบัน (กกร.) นำโดย ดร.พจน์ อร่ามวัฒนานนท์ ประธานสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมหารือกับ Mr. Christophe Kiener หัวหน้าคณะเจรจาฝ่ายสหภาพยุโรป พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าฝ่ายการค้าและเศรษฐกิจ คณะผู้แทนสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย และคณะ ณ โรงแรมแชงกรี-ลา
การหารือดังกล่าว อยู่ในช่วงการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ไทย-สหภาพยุโรป รอบที่ 6 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในประเทศไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 24–28 มิถุนายน 2568 โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อผลักดันความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและสหภาพยุโรปให้มีความคืบหน้าอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยภาคเอกชนไทยสนับสนุนการเจรจากาาค้าเสรีระหว่างกัน โดยอยู่บนพื้นฐานของการรักษาผลประโยชน์ร่วมกันทั้งสองฝ่าย
On June 25, 2025, Ms. Phetcharat Aeksangkun, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with representatives from the Joint Private Sector Committee of 3 Institutes (JCC) led by Dr. Poj Aramwatananon, President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, engaged in discussions with Mr. Christophe Kiener, Chief Negotiator for the European Union, along with the Head of Trade and Economic Affairs of the EU Delegation to Thailand and the team at Shangri-La Hotel.
The discussion was held during the 6th round of Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations taking place in Thailand from June 24–28, 2025. The objective is to promote concrete progress in economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Thailand and the European Union. The Thai private sector supports the free trade negotiations based on mutual benefits for both parties.
