Mr. Kriangkrai stated that in the current situation, the world is facing rapid changes in technology, shifts in the global economic landscape, fluctuations due to international circumstances, global trade situations, and changing consumer behaviors. Therefore, strengthening and making the economic foundation resilient is crucial, especially in investing in digital infrastructure, enhancing labor capabilities, supporting SMEs and startups to adapt with diverse skills, as well as promoting research and innovation to create added value to Thai products and services in the long term. When looking at Southeast Asia as a whole, it remains a region with high growth potential, especially in manufacturing and logistics driven by foreign investment, the recovery of the service sector, intra-regional trade, and the transition to a digital economy and green economy, which are important trends that all ASEAN countries are emphasizing.
Moreover, since the printing and packaging industry is significant and provides solutions that support high-value service production processes, it is one of the continuously growing industries. To enhance the potential of Thai entrepreneurs, FTI has established important strategies through the “4 GO” policies: Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, and Go Green, which will serve as tools to help industrial operators prepare to compete on the international stage by raising production standards, designing to meet consumer demands that evolve with current and future lifestyles, and using digital platforms for marketing, as well as promoting environmentally friendly and biodegradable packaging production, aiming towards Green Industry to enhance competitiveness and create sustainability for Thai entrepreneurs in the long term.
