ระหว่างวันที่ 14-18 สิงหาคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย คณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. ได้แก่ นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา นายธนารักษ์ พงษ์เภตรา นางสาวพิมพ์นารา จิรานิธิศนนท์ นายวิวรรธน์ เหมมณฑารพ และนายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ พร้อมกรรมการและสมาชิก ส.อ.ท. กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมดิจิตัลและกลุ่มผู้ให้บริการด้านโลจิสติกส์ รวม 24 ท่าน ได้เดินทางเยือนสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับภาคธุรกิจสิงคโปร์ และขยายโอกาสด้านนวัตกรรม การค้า และการลงทุน
กิจกรรมสำคัญ ได้แก่ การลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ระหว่างสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และสหพันธ์อุตสาหกรรมแห่งสิงคโปร์ (Singapore Manufacturing Federation: SMF) พร้อมการประชุม Business Roundtable เพื่อผลักดันความร่วมมือเชิงกลยุทธ์ โดยมีสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ สิงคโปร์ เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน
นอกจากนี้ คณะจาก ส.อ.ท. ยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนางอุรีรัตช์ เจริญโต เอกอัครราชทูต ณ สิงคโปร์ พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับเศรษฐกิจภูมิภาคและโอกาสในการสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย–สิงคโปร์ เพื่อเสริมขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน
คณะยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมและหารือกับผู้บริหารศูนย์ AWS Innovation Hub ศูนย์นวัตกรรมแห่งแรกของ AWS ในเอเชีย–แปซิฟิก และศูนย์ Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) ที่จัดตั้งโดยสหพันธ์อุตสาหกรรมแห่งสิงคโปร์ (SMF) เพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตยุคใหม่
ในด้านโลจิสติกส์ คณะได้ศึกษาดูงานที่เขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษยโฮร์–สิงคโปร์ (JS-SEZ) ซึ่งเป็นโครงการความร่วมมือระหว่างมาเลเซียและสิงคโปร์ รวมถึงศึกษาดูงานการบริหารท่าเรือ The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) และท่าเรือ Tanjong Pagar Smart Port ณ PSA Innovation Centre
หนึ่งในท่าเทียบเรือที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดของท่าเรือสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การบริหารของ PSA Singapore ตลอดจนศึกษาดูงานด้านการจัดการขนส่งสินค้าทางอากาศในพื้นที่คลังสินค้าในท่าอากาศยานสิงคโปร์ (Singapore Air Cargo Complex)
การเยือนครั้งนี้ นับเป็นการกระชับความร่วมมือของภาคเอกชนไทย–สิงคโปร์ในวาระครบรอบความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูต และตอกย้ำบทบาทการสร้างความแข็งแกร่งในห่วงโซ่อุปทานภูมิภาค ทั้งด้านการค้า การลงทุน นวัตกรรม และโลจิสติกส์
During the period from August 14 to 18, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI executives including Mr. Wetith Chokwatana, Mr. Thanarak Pongpetrak, Ms. Pimnara Jiranitithanon, Mr. Wiwat Hemmontarop, and Mr. Pannont Thitavanro, together with 24 representatives from the digital industry group and logistics service providers, visited the Republic of Singapore to establish cooperation networks with Singaporean businesses and expand opportunities in innovation, trade, and investment.
Key activities included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), alongside a Business Roundtable meeting to promote strategic cooperation, hosted by the Thai Embassy in Singapore.
Additionally, the FTI delegation paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Daron Charoento, the Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and exchanged views on the regional economy and opportunities for cooperation between Thailand and Singapore to enhance competitiveness.
The delegation also visited and discussed with executives at the AWS Innovation Hub, the first innovation center of AWS in the Asia-Pacific region, and the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) established by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) to develop next-generation manufacturing industries.
In terms of logistics, the group studied at the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), a joint project between Malaysia and Singapore, as well as learning about the operations at The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) and Tanjong Pagar Smart Port at the PSA Innovation Centre—one of the oldest berths of Singapore’s ports, managed by PSA Singapore. They also studied air cargo management within the warehouse area at the Singapore Air Cargo Complex.
This visit marks the strengthening of collaboration between the private sectors of Thailand and Singapore, commemorating the anniversary of diplomatic relations, and reinforces the role of enhancing the resilience of the regional supply chain in terms of trade, investment, innovation, and logistics.
