เมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม 2568 นายสงวน แสงวงศ์กิจ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก พร้อมด้วยนายเฉลิม โกกนุทาภรณ์ เลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออก นายสุรพล สุทธจินดา ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมกลุ่มจังหวัดภาคตะวันออก 1 นายกิตติวุฒิ ศศิวิมลพันธุ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี และนายสุกัณฑ์ โสรัจจกิจ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน "EEC EXPO 2025 – Opportunity for Prosperity" เวทีสำคัญของ EEC เปิดประตูการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทยสู่อนาคต โดยมีนาย นายเอกนัฏ พร้อมพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม เป็นประธานเปิดงานและปาฐกถาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “เขตพัฒนาพิเศษ กลไกการพลิกอนาคตประเทศไทย” จัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) และสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) ณ ภิรัช ฮอลล์ 1-3 ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค
ทั้งนี้ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ได้ร่วมออกบูธนิทรรศการ 2 บูธ ได้แก่ บูธสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งได้แนะนำสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย สิทธิประโยชน์ของสมาชิก การรับสมัครสมาชิกใหม่ ตลอดจนการให้บริการต่างๆ ของฝ่ายและสถาบันภายใต้สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย และบูธสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งได้นำเสนอการดำเนินงานภายใต้สถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้
1. งานสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการผลิตและการบริโภคที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
- การพัฒนาโมเดลต้นแบบตามแนวทาง Circular Economy & Green Model
- ส่งเสริมให้มีการผลิตและการบริโภคที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ECO product
- ส่งเสริมให้โรงงานอุตสาหกรรมดำเนินธุรกิจด้วยความยั่งยืนผ่านมาตรฐาน Eco Factory
2. แหล่งความรู้ ข้อมูลและบริการด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมอุตสาหกรรม
- ฐานข้อมูลและแพลตฟอร์มด้านน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อม
- ที่ปรึกษา และงานบริการด้านการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดการน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมอุตสาหกรรม
- การรับรองมาตรฐาน Eco Factory และ Water Footprint
- หน่วยงานฝึกอบรมบุคคลากรด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมประจำโรงงาน
3. ส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และมีผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย
- เครือข่ายบุคคลากรด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมประจำโรงงาน
- เครือข่ายผู้นำด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำ (Water Leadership)
- เครือข่ายบริหารจัดการน้ำ Water War room
- ให้ข้อเสนอแนะต่อการปรับปรุงกฎหมาย กฎระเบียบด้านน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อม
งาน EEC EXPO 2025 ครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25-26 สิงหาคม 2568 ณ ภิรัช ฮอลล์ 1-3 ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทคกรุงเทพมหานคร รวมทั้งได้ผนึกกำลังภาคีเครือข่ายทั้งภาครัฐ เอกชน และสถาบันการเงินกว่า 100 หน่วยงาน ร่วมแสดงศักยภาพเชื่อมโยงนักลงทุนไทยและต่างชาติ ผ่านกิจกรรมที่สำคัญภายในงาน เช่น เวทีเสวนาวิชาการในหัวข้อที่สำคัญ อาทิ Mega Project, Mega Impact เร่งเครื่องโครงสร้างพื้นฐานหลัก EEC ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทย, การขับเคลื่อนอนาคต EEC ด้วยพลังงานสะอาดและการบริหารจัดการน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน รวมไปถึงการจับคู่ธุรกิจ (Business Matching) ที่พร้อมเชื่อมโยงนักลงทุน ผู้ซื้อ และผู้ประกอบการจากทั่วประเทศได้พบปะกับภาคธุรกิจในพื้นที่ EEC เพื่อย้ำถึงบทบาทและผลักดันการขับเคลื่อนไทยสู่การเป็น "ศูนย์กลางการลงทุนระดับภูมิภาค"
On August 25, 2025, Mr. Songwan Saengwongkit, Chairman of the Eastern Regional Industrial Council, along with Mr. Chalerm Koganuthaphorn, Secretary-General of the Eastern Regional Industrial Council, Mr. Surapol Sutthajinda, Chairman of the Industrial Council of Eastern Province Group 1, Mr. Kittiwoot Sasivimolphan, Chairman of the Chonburi Provincial Industrial Council, and Mr. Sukhan Sorajakij, Chairman of the Chachoengsao Provincial Industrial Council, participated in the opening ceremony of "EEC EXPO 2025 – Opportunity for Prosperity," an important platform for the EEC that opens doors to propel Thailand's economy into the future. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Aekanak Prompan, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, who delivered a keynote address on the topic "Special Development Zone: A Mechanism to Transform Thailand's Future," organized by the Office of the Eastern Special Development Zone Policy Committee (ESDZPC) and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) at Pirun Hall 1-3, BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center.
Moreover, the Federation of Thai Industries participated with two exhibition booths, namely the FTI booth, which introduced the FTI, member benefits, recruitment of new members, and various services offered by departments and institutes under the FTI, and the Institute of Water and Environment for Industry booth, which presented its operations under the Institute of Water and Environment for Sustainability, with the following details:
1. Support and promote environmentally friendly production and consumption
- Development of prototype models according to Circular Economy & Green Model guidelines
- Promoting environmentally friendly products (ECO products)
- Promoting sustainable business practices in industrial factories through Eco Factory standards.
2. Knowledge sources, information, and services related to industrial water and environmental management
- Database and platform for water and environment
- Consulting and services for improving industrial water and environmental management efficiency
- Certification of Eco Factory standards and Water Footprint
- Training units for environmental personnel at factories.
3. Promote cooperation between the public sector, private sector, and stakeholders
- Network of environmental personnel at factories
- Network of water management leaders (Water Leadership)
- Water Management War Room network
- Providing suggestions for improving laws and regulations regarding water and the environment.
The EEC EXPO 2025 is held from August 25-26, 2025, at Pirun Hall 1-3, BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok. Additionally, it has consolidated the efforts of more than 100 partners from the public and private sectors, as well as financial institutions, to showcase the potential for connecting Thai and foreign investors through significant activities during the event, such as forums on critical topics including Mega Projects, Mega Impacts, accelerating EEC infrastructure, driving the Thai economy, the future of EEC using clean energy and sustainable water management, as well as business matching sessions to connect investors, buyers, and entrepreneurs from across the country with businesses in the EEC area, reiterating the role and pushing Thailand towards becoming a "Regional Investment Hub."
