On Friday, September 5, 2025, the Northern Industrial Council held its 3/2025 Executive Committee meeting, graced by Mr. Thavee Piyapathana, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Apichit Prasprathan, Vice President of FTI, and Dr. Darun Wiphataklats, Vice President of FTI, who attended to listen to the issues raised by local members. Dr. Supachana Wangpridalertkul, President of the Northern Industrial Council, opened the meeting. The host of the meeting, Ms. Supachana Phatphongpanit, President of the Uthai Thani Provincial Industrial Council, welcomed the FTI executives and the Northern Industrial Council committee at the Tara Hill Hotel in Uthai Thani Province.

Key issues that the Northern Industrial Council must monitor
The Northern Industrial Council, covering four provinces, is advancing important activities and projects to promote the economy and improve the quality of life for entrepreneurs in the area. The key issues currently being implemented are as follows:

1. Organization of FTI Northex EXPO - The largest comprehensive technology and innovation showcase in the Northern region, aimed at enhancing the product exhibition of the provincial industrial councils in the North and facilitating international business matching, as well as showcasing technological advancements for the industrial sector in the region to leverage and drive their business forward.
2. Organization of FTI Chiangmai Gift Fair 2025 
FTI Chiangmai Gift Fair 2025 is a fair showcasing quality goods, foods, and products directly from factories within the FTI network, offering great prices from October 31 to November 9, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chiang Mai Province.
3. Summary of the flood situation in Nan Province and support from the Federation of Thai Industries.
4. The 4th Phrae Khaeng Jet event organized by the Phrae Provincial Industrial Council, showcasing the charm of Phrae's Soft Power and culinary wisdom from the Lanna region, from November 14 to 16, 2025, at the Pleng Isuzu Phrae area.
5. Organization of a health run event by the Phetchabun Provincial Industrial Council on October 26, 2025, at the Agricultural Industry Development Project, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province.
6. The project for creating a knowledge network on energy in preparation for Energy Transition for the lower northern region 2 in Nakhon Sawan Province, on June 25, 2025, in collaboration with the Energy Institute for Industry of FTI to disseminate knowledge and understanding of clean energy to all sectors.
7. Study tour on agriculture at the Osaka World Expo 2025 under the main theme “Designing Future Society for our lives” from July 9 to 13, 2025, in Japan, where attendees observed presentations and innovations from various countries around the world and exchanged new agricultural innovations and technologies.
