On October 7, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) led by
Ms. Pechara Eksaengkool, Vice President of FTI and Chair of the MiT Supervisory Committee, along with Mr. Nawa Chantanasurakorn, Vice President of FTI and Chair of the MiT Committee, Dr. Jiraphorn Wiriya-phongkul, Dr. Somsak Moolsthan, and Mr. Chaiwat Chai-panithiphan, committee members of the MiT Supervisory Subcommittee, and staff visited the certified MiT operators in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
The delegation visited Montharak Engineering Co., Ltd.,
a producer and designer specializing in fabrication, metal work, and electric cabinet systems.
The company meets the needs of public agencies such as the Department of Highways and the Department of Rural Roads.
They also plan to trademark the brand P∞Me to create unique products in the market.
The company has a total of 21 SKUs certified as MiT products.
Subsequently, the delegation visited Nipro (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
a manufacturer of single-use medical products.
This includes products such as intravenous drips, syringes, sterile needles, and infusion sets. The company has been in business for over 30 years, holding ISO and GMP certifications, and receiving investment promotion from the Board of Investment (BOI).
The quality of Thai products is trusted not only in local hospitals but also, currently, more than 90% of the company's products are exported to foreign markets such as the United States, Europe, and Japan, reflecting the potential for enhancing the economic value of Thailand.
The company also has 21 SKUs certified as MiT products.
Additionally, the delegation visited KS Golden Co., Ltd.,
a manufacturer of hygiene products such as face masks, adult diapers, and absorbent pads.
Including factory production services based on clients' designs and requirements for private labeling (OEM) for major clients such as CP, TOPS, CJ, and BIG C, the company is certified for quality by ISO and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company plans to adjust its strategy to use more domestic raw materials to increase the value as Thai products and to expand its export market, with over 80 SKUs certified as MiT products, reaffirming the confidence in the quality of Thai goods.
This site visit reflects that the 'MiT certification' not only builds confidence in the quality of Thai products but also helps to expand new opportunities in public procurement and strengthens Thai operators in the long term.
The primary benefit of the Made in Thailand (MiT) certification from the Federation of Thai Industries is the 5% advantage when participating in public procurement, helping to build credibility and promote value for Thai products produced by operators within Thailand.
