วันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานอาวุโส สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะอนุกรรมการด้านการพัฒนาการลงทุนใหม่ของประเทศ ภายใต้คณะกรรมการร่วมภาครัฐและเอกชนเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาทางเศรษฐกิจ (กรอ.) โดยมี ดร.เอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง เป็นประธานการประชุม พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภาครัฐ และผู้แทนภาคเอกชน เข้าร่วมเพื่อร่วมกำหนดแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการลงทุนใหม่ของประเทศและยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทย ณ ห้องประชุม ชั้น 20 อาคาร 150 ปี กระทรวงการคลัง
ที่ประชุมได้รับทราบกรอบยุทธศาสตร์การขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ ซึ่งมุ่งยกระดับอัตราการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ (GDP Potential Growth) ให้สูงกว่าร้อยละ 3 ดันสัดส่วนการลงทุนรวมให้เข้าใกล้ร้อยละ 30 ของ GDP และผลักดันประเทศไทยให้ก้าวสู่ 20 อันดับแรกของโลกด้านความสามารถในการแข่งขัน ตลอดจนก้าวสู่การเป็นประเทศรายได้สูง โดยที่ประชุมได้เห็นชอบจัดตั้ง 5 คณะทำงาน (5 ฮับยุทธศาสตร์) ได้แก่:
1. Investment and Industry Transformation Hub เน้นการเร่งรัดการลงทุนผ่าน Thailand FastPass พัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน และเพิ่มสัดส่วนการใช้วัตถุดิบภายในประเทศ (Local Content)
2. AI and Digital Hub มุ่งสร้างระบบนิเวศ AI ครบวงจร "AI for All" ดึงดูดการลงทุนเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง 1 แสนล้านบาทภายในปี 2570
3. Green Economy Hub พัฒนาโครงข่ายไฟฟ้าอัจฉริยะ โครงสร้างพื้นฐาน EV และกลไกตลาดคาร์บอน (Carbon Market)
4. Financial Hub ผลักดันไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการเงินระดับภูมิภาค และส่งเสริมสตาร์ทอัพให้เข้าถึงแหล่งทุน
5. Medical Hub มุ่งเน้นนวัตกรรมการแพทย์มูลค่าสูง และการพัฒนาระบบนิเวศด้านยาและอาหารเสริม
ทั้งนี้ ได้มีการวางกรอบการทำงาน 3 ระยะ ได้แก่ มาตรการระยะสั้น (Quick Win 6 เดือน) มาตรการเชิงโครงสร้าง (Big Win 2 ปี) และมาตรการระยะยาว (Long Win 4 ปี) พร้อมตั้งเป้าเสนอแผนปฏิบัติการ (Action Plan) ที่ชัดเจนภายในสิ้นเดือนสิงหาคมนี้
ในส่วนของ ส.อ.ท. ได้เน้นย้ำในที่ประชุมถึงความสำคัญของการส่งเสริมการเชื่อมโยงการลงทุนใหม่เข้ากับอุตสาหกรรมภายในประเทศ เพื่อให้เกิดการใช้ชิ้นส่วนและวัตถุดิบในประเทศ (Local Content) ดึงผู้ประกอบการไทยและ SMEs เข้าสู่ห่วงโซ่อุปทานระดับโลก (Global Supply Chain) ควบคู่ไปกับการผลักดันให้เกิดการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี (Technology Transfer) และการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงานไทยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม เพื่อให้การลงทุนจากต่างชาติช่วยยกระดับขีดความสามารถและสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในระยะยาว
พร้อมกันนี้ ส.อ.ท. ยืนยันความพร้อมในการทำงานร่วมกับภาครัฐและทุกภาคส่วนอย่าง "ไร้รอยต่อ" เพื่อขับเคลื่อนแผนปฏิบัติการดังกล่าวให้เห็นผลจริง และร่วมผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางการลงทุนแห่งอนาคต (Future Investment Hub) อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
On July 31, 2026, Mr. Vateet Chokwatana, Senior Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the meeting of the Subcommittee on New Investment Development of the Country under the Joint Public-Private Committee for Economic Issues (JPC). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and was attended by executives from governmental agencies and representatives from the private sector to formulate guidelines for driving new investment in the country and enhancing Thailand's competitive capacity at the meeting room on the 20th floor of the 150th Anniversary Building, Ministry of Finance.
The meeting was informed of the strategic framework for driving the economy, aiming to elevate the GDP Potential Growth rate above 3 percent, pushing the total investment proportion to approach 30 percent of GDP, and propelling Thailand into the top 20 countries in the world in terms of competitiveness, as well as advancing towards becoming a high-income country. The meeting approved the establishment of 5 working groups (5 Strategic Hubs), which are:
1. Investment and Industry Transformation Hub focuses on expediting investments through Thailand FastPass, developing infrastructure, and increasing the utilization of domestic raw materials (Local Content).
2. AI and Digital Hub aims to create a comprehensive AI ecosystem, "AI for All," attracting 100 billion baht in advanced technology investments by 2027.
3. Green Economy Hub will develop smart electrical grids, EV infrastructure, and a carbon market mechanism.
4. Financial Hub seeks to promote Thailand as a regional financial center and support startups in accessing funding.
5. Medical Hub focuses on high-value medical innovations and the development of ecosystems related to pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements.
The framework includes 3 phases of work: short-term measures (Quick Win 6 months), structural measures (Big Win 2 years), and long-term measures (Long Win 4 years), with the goal of proposing a clear action plan by the end of August.
For its part, the FTI stressed in the meeting the importance of promoting the linkage of new investments with domestic industries to ensure the use of local components and raw materials (Local Content), drawing Thai operators and SMEs into the global supply chain while pushing for technology transfer and the concrete development of Thai labor skills to ensure that foreign investments enhance competitiveness and strengthen the Thai industrial sector in the long term.
Additionally, the FTI confirmed its readiness to work in seamless collaboration with the government and all sectors to effectively implement this action plan and to further promote Thailand as a future sustainable investment hub.
