เมื่อวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2569 สถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมการสถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม วาระปี 2569–2571 โดยมี นายมงคล เฮงโรจนโสภณ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม เป็นประธานการประชุม พร้อมด้วย นายกิตติ ตั้งจิตรมณีศักดา ที่ปรึกษาและรองประธานอาวุโส ส.อ.ท. และที่ปรึกษา รองประธาน และคณะกรรมการสถาบันพลังงานฯ เข้าร่วม ณ ห้อง PTT Group (1012) ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท.
ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ ได้มีการประกาศวิสัยทัศน์ “Thailand Pragmatic Energy Transition” เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานของประเทศไทย โดยมุ่งสร้างสมดุลระหว่างความมั่นคงด้านพลังงาน (Energy Security) ความสามารถในการแข่งขัน (Competitiveness) และความยั่งยืน (Sustainability) บนพื้นฐานของข้อเท็จจริงและบริบทที่เหมาะสมกับประเทศไทย เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมในระยะยาว
ที่ประชุมได้กำหนดกรอบการดำเนินงานของสถาบันฯ ผ่าน 6 ยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญ (6 Pillars) ครอบคลุมการพัฒนาฐานข้อมูลและข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายด้านพลังงาน การเป็นศูนย์กลางองค์ความรู้และเครือข่ายผู้นำด้านพลังงาน การส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานสะอาดและเชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพ การสนับสนุนการอนุรักษ์พลังงานผ่านกลไก ESCO เพื่อช่วยลดต้นทุนให้ผู้ประกอบการ SME การสร้างความเข้าใจด้านพลังงานก๊าซและน้ำมัน และการผลักดันไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางพลังงานในภูมิภาค รวมถึงการพัฒนาระบบไฟฟ้าสมัยใหม่ เช่น Direct PPA โครงสร้างค่าไฟฟ้าที่เป็นธรรม และ Smart Grid
นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังได้ติดตามความคืบหน้าของร่างแผนพัฒนากำลังผลิตไฟฟ้าของประเทศ (Power Development Plan: PDP) ฉบับใหม่ พร้อมหารือแนวทางเตรียมความพร้อมด้านพลังงานแห่งอนาคต เพื่อรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของภาคอุตสาหกรรมและเศรษฐกิจโลก
สำหรับแผนการดำเนินงานในปี 2569 สถาบันพลังงานเพื่ออุตสาหกรรมเตรียมจัดกิจกรรมสำคัญ ได้แก่ หลักสูตรผู้บริหารระดับสูงด้านพลังงาน (EEP) รุ่นที่ 11 และงาน Energy Symposium เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ และผลักดันการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานของประเทศไทยให้เกิดผลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ควบคู่กับการยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
On July 16, 2026, the Energy Institute for Industry of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) convened the Energy Institute Board meeting for the term 2026–2028, chaired by Mr. Mongkol HengrojanSophon, Vice President of FTI, and President of the Energy Institute for Industry, along with Mr. Kitti Tangjitrmanisakda, Advisor and Senior Vice President of FTI, and Advisors, Vice Presidents, and Board members of the Energy Institute, held at the PTT Group Room (1012), 10th Floor, FTI.
During this meeting, the vision “Thailand Pragmatic Energy Transition” was announced to drive Thailand's energy transition, aiming to create a balance between energy security, competitiveness, and sustainability based on facts and contexts appropriate for Thailand, in order to enhance the long-term competitiveness of the industrial sector.
The meeting outlined the operational framework of the Institute through 6 key strategies (6 Pillars), covering the development of a database and policy proposals on energy, being a knowledge hub and network for energy leaders, promoting the use of clean energy and biofuels, supporting energy conservation through an ESCO mechanism to help reduce costs for SME operators, creating understanding regarding gas and oil energy, and pushing Thailand to become an energy hub in the region, in addition to developing modern electric systems such as Direct PPA, fair electricity pricing structures, and Smart Grids.
Additionally, the meeting followed up on the progress of the draft Power Development Plan (PDP) and discussed ways to prepare for the future energy landscape to accommodate changes in the industrial sector and the global economy.
For the operational plan in 2026, the Energy Institute for Industry is preparing to organize significant activities, including the 11th Energy Executive Program (EEP) and the Energy Symposium to promote knowledge exchange, build cooperation networks, and drive Thailand's energy transition into tangible results, while enhancing the sustainability of the Thai industrial sector's competitiveness.
