This meeting discussed collaboration between the public and private sectors to push two key measures under the “Quick Big Win” policy into tangible results. The meeting emphasized the details of benefits to publicize and expedite FTI members' access to the measures as follows:
1. Support measures for Thai entrepreneurs to enhance competitiveness:
Investment support ranging from 30% to 50%, with a maximum limit of 100 million Baht per project for Thai-registered legal entities (with at least 51% Thai shareholders) in target industries, to be used for improving production efficiency through automation, research and development (R&D), or transitioning to future industries, with a minimum investment condition of 50 million Baht (general case) or 20 million Baht (in the case of SMEs with an SME ONE ID).
2. Measures to develop a skilled workforce for the new-age industry:
Funding through educational institutions to produce and develop over 100,000 personnel in the form of Bootcamp and Upskill/Reskill programs, with the fund covering training costs, travel expenses, and allowances to supply personnel to the industrial sector.
Furthermore, FTI discussed proactive coordination strategies to connect member entrepreneurs to participate in the project, aiming to expedite publicity and facilitate targeted members to prepare and submit their promotion requests by the deadline in January 2026, allowing the Thai industrial sector to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and compete internationally.
