ส.อ.ท. ผนึก EXIM Bank จัดสัมมนารับมือสถานการณ์ตะวันออกกลาง พร้อมมาตรการช่วยเหลือ SMEsFTI Collaborates with EXIM Bank to Organize Seminar on Managing Middle Eastern Situations and Support Measures for SMEs

On March 11, 2026, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in collaboration with the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Bank) organized a seminar titled “Managing Middle Eastern Situations and Support Measures for SMEs” to provide information on the economic and trade situations in the Middle East, as well as guidelines and support measures for Thai entrepreneurs affected by global economic fluctuations, held at Meeting Room 1014 on the 10th floor of FTI and online.

The event featured a keynote speech by Mr. Apichit Prasoprat, Vice President of FTI and President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute of the Manufacturing Sector (SMI), discussing “Overview of the Market Situation in the Middle East and Response Strategies for FTI Members.” He reflected on the overall economic situation, trade trends, and business opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs in the Middle Eastern market.

Moreover, it also featured a presentation by Mr. Chalard Rattanaboonnithi, Managing Director of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand, discussing “Support Measures from the Export-Import Bank of Thailand,” providing insights on financial instruments and support measures that help reduce trade and export risks, as well as enhance liquidity for Thai entrepreneurs.

The aim of this seminar was to strengthen understanding of international economic situations while supporting Thai entrepreneurs in planning their businesses, adjusting trade strategies, and effectively utilizing financial instruments, which will enhance the potential and competitiveness of Thai SMEs in the global market sustainably.
