เมื่อวันที่ 25 เมษายน 2569 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเสวนาในหัวข้อ Leading Innovation in the AI Era – From Academia to Industry Impact ภายในงาน CU TIP Symposium & Reunion 2026: Empowering Lifelong Innovators ณ ห้อง Astor Ballroom ชั้น 14 โรงแรม เดอะ เซนต์ รีจิส กรุงเทพฯ (The St. Regis Bangkok)
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.ดร.วิเลิศ ภูริวัชร อธิการบดีจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กล่าวต้อนรับและเปิดงาน พร้อมถ่ายทอดวิสัยทัศน์ทิศทางการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัย ขณะที่ ศ.ดร.ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) กล่าวถึงแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนประเทศด้วยนวัตกรรม
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีช่วง Inspiring Talk ในหัวข้อ Startup สัญชาติไทยที่ก้าวสู่การเป็นยูนิคอร์นรายแรก โดยนายคมสันต์ ลี ผู้ก่อตั้งและประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร Flash Express ร่วมถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์การสร้างธุรกิจไทยสู่ระดับสากล
สำหรับงานดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อสานสัมพันธ์เครือข่ายนิสิตเก่าและนิสิตปัจจุบัน พร้อมเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านธุรกิจ นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนาศักยภาพผู้นำแห่งอนาคต
ในโอกาสนี้ นายเกรียงไกร ได้ร่วมเสวนาถึงบทบาทของนวัตกรรมในยุค AI ที่ส่งผลต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยและการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันของประเทศ ร่วมกับ ศ.ดร.สนอง เอกสิทธิ์ อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาเคมี จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย นายวัตสัน ถิรภัทรพงศ์ Country Manager, AWS Thailand และ ดร.ศุภกร สิทธิไชย รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) โดยมี ผศ.ดร.กวิน อัศวานันท์ ผู้อำนวยการหลักสูตร CU TIP เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการ
On April 25, 2026, Mr. Kriengkrai Theerasakran, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in a discussion titled Leading Innovation in the AI Era – From Academia to Industry Impact at the CU TIP Symposium & Reunion 2026: Empowering Lifelong Innovators held at the Astor Ballroom, 14th floor, The St. Regis Bangkok.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Wilert Phuriwatchara, President of Chulalongkorn University, who welcomed attendees and opened the event, sharing the university's vision for development. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Yothchakarn Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, discussed strategies to drive the country forward through innovation.
Additionally, there was an Inspiring Talk on Thai startups that have evolved into the first unicorns, featuring Mr. Komson Lee, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flash Express, who shared his experiences in building a Thai business to an international level.
This event was organized to strengthen ties among alumni and current students, providing a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in business, innovation, and the development of future leadership potential.
On this occasion, Mr. Kriengkrai engaged in discussions about the role of innovation in the AI era and its impact on the Thai industry and the enhancement of the country's competitiveness, alongside Prof. Dr. Sanong Aksithit, Faculty Member of the Department of Chemistry at Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Watson Thirapatpong, Country Manager, AWS Thailand, and Dr. Supakorn Sitthichai, Acting Director-General of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), with Asst. Prof. Dr. Kavin Asavananant, Director of the CU TIP program, serving as the moderator.
