ส.อ.ท. เปิด Water Leadership Program รุ่นที่ 11 พัฒนาผู้นำบริหารจัดการน้ำFTI Launches Water Leadership Program Batch 11 to Develop Water Management Leaders

The Water, Environment, and Climate Change Institute of the FTI organized an opening event for the "Water Leadership Program, Batch 11" aimed at developing participants with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives essential for systematic water management, enabling them to analyze risks, plan, and make effective water-related decisions at the organizational level.

On September 11, 2026, the program's opening ceremony commenced with a welcome and orientation led by Mr. Prida Watcharathiansakul, Chairman of the Water, Environment, and Climate Change Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with an introduction to the course structure, the benefits for participants, and learning approaches by Mr. Chuchat Saitin, Senior Advisor of the Institute, held at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel in Bangkok.

Following this, the event featured Senior Talks: Decrypting Real Experiences by Mr. Kritphon Sudsawang from Water Leadership Program Batch 6, and Ms. Phanneporn Suwan and Mr. Suwan Denmalai from Batch 10, who shared their experiences and perspectives from their participation in the program, helping the participants of Batch 11 learn from real experiences, visualize the extension of knowledge, and understand the value of building networks among learners from each batch.

The event concluded with "Building Relationships to Create a Water Management Leaders Network," providing participants an opportunity to get acquainted, build relationships, and learn collaboration through activities that promote mindset and teamwork before culminating in summarizing lessons and establishing a Leadership Community as a foundation for knowledge exchange and networking throughout the course.

Throughout the program, participants will learn about water management from various dimensions, including Climate Change, Water Risks, weather forecasting and risk assessment, water situation analysis and Water Balance, laws, industrial water management technology, Water Reuse & Recycling, and Water Security, while gaining an understanding of global water trends and challenges, as well as the concepts of Water Stewardship and ESG to apply to their organizational contexts.

The key focus is on applying knowledge to real practice through the development of an organization's "Water Risk Management Plan" by analyzing water risks within the organization and supply chain, along with practicing the presentation of strategic concepts to management and experts for feedback and further application.

At the same time, participants will build a Water Leadership Network through exchanging experiences with executives, experts, alumni, and participants from various organizations to develop networks and promote long-term cooperation in water management.

The development of water management leaders aligns with the direction of "The New Chapter of Thai Industry" under the 5I strategy of the FTI, particularly I4: Industrial Infrastructure Reform, which emphasizes the development of infrastructure to enhance competitiveness, with "water" being a crucial component of the industrial sector, and I5: Inclusive Sustainability, which strives for growth alongside sustainability.

Moreover, the application of technology, data, and innovation in water management supports the concepts of I1: Intelligent Industry and I2: Innovation & Creative Industry, while the creation of networks and experience sharing among executives, experts, and various organizations connects with I3: International Alliance & Network.

The Water Leadership Program Batch 11 thus aims to develop leaders from "water experts" to "water risk management executives" who can analyze data, plan, make decisions, and apply knowledge to their organizations while establishing collaborative networks to elevate the capabilities of the industrial sector and drive sustainable growth.
