วันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะกรรมการศึกษาแนวทางขับเคลื่อนโครงการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านการคมนาคมขนส่ง เพื่อเชื่อมโยงการขนส่งระหว่างอ่าวไทยและอันดามัน (โครงการแลนด์บริดจ์) ครั้งที่ 1/2569 ณ ห้องประชุม 301 ชั้น 3 ตึกบัญชาการ 1 ทำเนียบรัฐบาล โดยมี ดร.เอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการศึกษาโครงการแลนด์บริดจ์ เป็นประธานการประชุม
ทั้งนี้ ภารกิจหลักของคณะกรรมการฯ คือ การประเมินความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการและผลกระทบในมิติต่าง ๆ เพื่อนำมาประกอบการพิจารณาแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนโครงการแลนด์บริดจ์ให้สอดคล้องกับสถานการณ์ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์โลกในปัจจุบัน ก่อนเสนอต่อนายกรัฐมนตรีและคณะรัฐมนตรีพิจารณา รวมถึงรับฟังและรวบรวมความคิดเห็นจากทุกภาคส่วนประกอบการดำเนินงาน
สำหรับสาระสำคัญของการประชุม มีดังนี้
ส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องรายงานผลการศึกษาความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการ รวมถึงผลการรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและระบบโลจิสติกส์เชื่อมโยงระหว่างอ่าวไทยและอันดามัน โดยอ้างอิงผลการศึกษาของสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ (สศช.) และสำนักงานนโยบายและแผนการขนส่งและจราจร (สนข.)
ที่ประชุมมีมติเห็นชอบการแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการ 3 คณะ ประกอบด้วย
2.1) คณะอนุกรรมการพิจารณาแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาโครงการแลนด์บริดจ์ โดยมีเลขาธิการสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ เป็นประธาน ทำหน้าที่พิจารณาความเป็นไปได้และผลกระทบในมิติต่าง ๆ ของโครงการ
2.2) คณะอนุกรรมการประเมินผลกระทบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยมีปลัดกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เป็นประธาน ทำหน้าที่ให้ข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับผลกระทบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่อาจเกิดขึ้นจากโครงการ
2.3) คณะอนุกรรมการพิจารณาและขับเคลื่อนกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมและการสื่อสารสาธารณะ โดยมีปลัดกระทรวงคมนาคม เป็นประธาน ทำหน้าที่กำหนดแนวทาง กลยุทธ์ และแผนการสื่อสาร รวมถึงการเปิดเผยข้อมูลโครงการอย่างโปร่งใส เพื่อให้ประชาชนเข้าถึงข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องครบถ้วน และส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนอย่างทั่วถึง
ทั้งนี้ ในระยะต่อไป ที่ประชุมได้เน้นย้ำให้การพิจารณาขับเคลื่อนโครงการแลนด์บริดจ์ต้องศึกษาครอบคลุมทุกมิติ โดยคำนึงถึงความเป็นไปได้ในทางปฏิบัติ พร้อมเปิดรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากทุกภาคส่วนอย่างรอบด้านต่อไป
On May 15, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the first meeting of the committee studying the pathways for the development of transportation infrastructure to connect the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea (Land Bridge Project) in 2026 at Meeting Room 301, 3rd Floor, Government Building 1, Government House. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, in his capacity as the chairperson of the Land Bridge Project study committee.
Moreover, the main mission of the committee is to assess the feasibility of the project and its impacts in various dimensions, in order to consider pathways for the advancement of the Land Bridge Project that align with current global geopolitical situations. This will be proposed to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet for consideration, as well as to gather and incorporate feedback from all sectors involved in the operation.
The key contents of the meeting are as follows:
Relevant government agencies reported the results of the feasibility and suitability study of the project, along with feedback from all sectors related to infrastructure development and logistics systems linking the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, referencing the studies by the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) and the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP).
The meeting agreed to appoint three subcommittees, which are as follows:
2.1) The Subcommittee on Pathways for Advancing the Development of the Land Bridge Project, chaired by the Secretary-General of the National Economic and Social Development Council, will assess the feasibility and impacts of the project in various dimensions.
2.2) The Subcommittee on Environmental Impact Assessment, chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, will provide recommendations regarding potential environmental impacts of the project.
2.3) The Subcommittee on Joint Participation and Public Communication, chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, will determine the strategies and communication plans, including the transparent disclosure of project information to ensure that the public has access to accurate and comprehensive information, and to promote widespread public participation.
Furthermore, in the upcoming phases, the meeting emphasized that the consideration for advancing the Land Bridge Project must cover all dimensions, taking into account practical feasibility while remaining open to feedback from all sectors comprehensively.
