เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายสุวัชร์ ศุภกาญจน์เดชากุล นายธีระพล ติรวศิน นายสมบูรณ์ พิทยรังสฤษฎ์ และ ดร.เนาวรัตน์ ทรงสวัสดิ์ชัย รวมทั้งนายบัณฑูรย์ จุ้ยเจริญ กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากบริษัท เทยิน (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด นำโดย Mr. Remy Reints ผู้จัดการประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก นายสมคิด รัตนประภาพร ผู้จัดการทั่วไป และนายลภัส ประดับสุข ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบริหารความสัมพันธ์ลูกค้า ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีในการเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับการยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมไทย รวมถึงแนวทางการปกป้องอุตสาหกรรมภายในประเทศ ผ่านกลไกต่าง ๆ อาทิ การผลักดันการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ไทย–สหภาพยุโรป การป้องกันการสวมสิทธิ์ การส่งเสริมการใช้สินค้าระหว่างกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม และการยกระดับมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม โดยเฉพาะมาตรฐานบังคับสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความปลอดภัย
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. ให้ความสำคัญกับการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมไทย ผ่านการผลักดันกรอบความร่วมมือทางการค้าและการพัฒนามาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งถือเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการสร้างความน่าเชื่อถือและคุ้มครองอุตสาหกรรมภายในประเทศ โดยได้จัดตั้งคณะกรรมการสายงานมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมและศักยภาพในการแข่งขัน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนประเด็นดังกล่าวผ่านการบูรณาการความร่วมมือกับทุกภาคส่วน ให้เกิดผลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม อันจะช่วยเสริมความเข้มแข็งของ Supply Chain และยกระดับศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI Vice Chairperson Mr. Suwatch Suphakarn-detakul, Mr. Theerapol Tiranwastin, Mr. Somboon Phithayarangsarit, and Dr. Naowarat Songsawat-chai, as well as Mr. Bandhumorn Juicharoen, Executive Committee Member of the FTI, welcomed a delegation from Teijin (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Remy Reints, Regional Manager for Asia-Pacific, Mr. Somkid Rattanaprapaporn, General Manager, and Mr. Lapas Pradubsuk, Customer Relationship Management Manager, on the occasion of expressing congratulations on their appointment as Chairperson of the FTI for the term 2026–2028 at the Mongkolsuthee room of the FTI.
During this discussion, both parties exchanged opinions and suggestions regarding enhancing the competitiveness of the Thai industry, including strategies for protecting domestic industries through various mechanisms, such as promoting negotiations for the Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA), preventing infringement of rights, promoting the use of products among industrial groups, and enhancing industrial standards, particularly mandatory standards for safety-related products.
Moreover, the FTI emphasizes the importance of enhancing the competitiveness of the Thai industry through the promotion of trade cooperation frameworks and the development of industrial standards, which are crucial mechanisms for building credibility and protecting domestic industries. The FTI has established an Industrial Standards and Competitiveness Committee to drive these issues through integrated cooperation with all sectors, yielding tangible results that will strengthen the Supply Chain and sustainably enhance the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs.
