เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 5 กันยายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. และสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ นำโดยนางพรทิพย์ ตั้งตระกูลวงศ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เข้าศึกษาดูงาน บริษัท อุบล ไบโอ เอทานอล จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ UBE จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยมีนางสาวสุรียส โควสุรัตน์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท อุบล ไบโอ เอทานอล จำกัด (มหาชน) พร้อมคณะผู้บริหารให้การต้อนรับ
บริษัท อุบล ไบโอ เอทานอล จำกัด (มหาชน) (UBE) เป็นผู้ผลิตและแปรรูปมันสำปะหลังรายใหญ่ของประเทศ ดำเนินธุรกิจตามแนวทางอุตสาหกรรมชีวภาพ (Bio-Based Industry) โดยมีธุรกิจหลักครอบคลุมตั้งแต่การผลิตเอทานอลจากมันสำปะหลัง แป้งมันสำปะหลัง แป้งฟลาวมันสำปะหลัง และผลิตภัณฑ์ออร์แกนิก มุ่งเน้นการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มจากผลผลิตทางการเกษตร เชื่อมโยงภาคเกษตรกับภาคอุตสาหกรรม
คณะเยี่ยมชมได้รับฟังภาพรวมการดำเนินธุรกิจของ UBE Group พร้อมศึกษากระบวนการผลิตเอทานอลเกรดเชื้อเพลิงจากผลผลิตทางการเกษตร รวมถึงแนวทางการใช้ประโยชน์จากผลพลอยได้ในกระบวนการผลิต เช่น ก๊าซชีวภาพ (Biogas) เพื่อนำมาผลิตพลังงานไฟฟ้าและใช้หมุนเวียนภายในโรงงาน ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพด้านพลังงานและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
การศึกษาดูงานในครั้งนี้ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระหว่างผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. สภาอุตสาหกรรมภาค และผู้ประกอบการในพื้นที่ เพื่อเรียนรู้แนวทางการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจ การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ การเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน และการประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) ในภาคอุตสาหกรรม
ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นภายหลังการประชุมคณะกรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ครั้งที่ 1/2569 เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์และเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่าง ส.อ.ท. และสภาอุตสาหกรรมในภูมิภาค
On Saturday, September 5, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI executives and the Northeastern Industrial Council led by Ms. Porntip Tangtrakulwong, Chairwoman of the Northeastern Industrial Council, visited Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE) in Ubon Ratchathani. They were welcomed by Ms. Suriyas Kovsurath, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE), along with her executive team.
Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE) is a major producer and processor of cassava in the country, operating under the bio-based industry model. Its core business includes the production of ethanol from cassava, cassava starch, flour, and organic products, focusing on adding value to agricultural products and connecting the agricultural and industrial sectors.
The visiting delegation received an overview of UBE Group's business operations and studied the process of producing fuel-grade ethanol from agricultural products, including methods for utilizing by-products in the production process such as biogas to generate electricity and for use within the factory, which helps enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
This study visit is part of an initiative to build a network of cooperation and knowledge exchange among FTI executives, regional industrial councils, and local entrepreneurs to learn about business management practices, product development, enhancing competitiveness, and applying circular economy concepts in the industrial sector.
The activity was organized following the first meeting of the Northeastern Industrial Council for the year 2026, to strengthen relationships and foster cooperation between FTI and industrial councils in the region.
