ส.อ.ท. เดินหน้ากระชับเครือข่ายเศรษฐกิจไทย–บราซิล ชี้บราซิลเป็นทั้งตลาดศักยภาพและประตูสำคัญสู่ลาตินอเมริกา พร้อมต่อยอดโอกาสการค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือในอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต โดยเฉพาะอาหารและเกษตรแปรรูป ยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วน พลังงานสะอาด และเทคโนโลยีการผลิต
วันที่ 7 กันยายน 2569 นายเจน นำชัยศิริ รองประธานสายงานกิจการต่างประเทศ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายสุภกิจ วรรณบูรณ์ ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย–ลาตินอเมริกา เข้าร่วมงานเฉลิมฉลองวันชาติสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐบราซิล (Brazil Day 2026) และมอบกระเช้าดอกไม้แสดงความยินดีแก่ H.E. Mr. André Odenbreit Carvalho เอกอัครราชทูตบราซิลประจำประเทศไทย โดยมีนายศรัณย์ เจริญสุวรรณ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมแสดงความยินดี เพื่อเชื่อมโยงภาคเอกชนไทยกับเครือข่ายธุรกิจบราซิล ในการขยายตลาดและสร้างความร่วมมือในห่วงโซ่อุปทานระหว่างประเทศ ณ โรงแรมอนันตรา สยาม กรุงเทพฯ
บราซิลมีศักยภาพในหลายมิติที่สอดรับกับอุตสาหกรรมไทย ทั้งอาหารและเกษตรแปรรูป ยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วน พลังงานสะอาด รวมถึงเทคโนโลยีการผลิตสมัยใหม่ ขณะเดียวกัน การที่บราซิลเป็นสมาชิก BRICS ยังเพิ่มความสำคัญในฐานะจุดเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจและการค้ากับกลุ่มประเทศที่มีบทบาทสูงในระบบเศรษฐกิจโลก การสร้างเครือข่ายกับภาคธุรกิจบราซิลจึงเป็นโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยมองไกลกว่าการส่งออกสินค้า สู่การร่วมลงทุน การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี และการเชื่อม Supply Chain ในระยะยาว
การพบปะในครั้งนี้สะท้อนความต่อเนื่องของการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาคเอกชนไทยและบราซิล ซึ่งเป็นอีกกลไกสำคัญในการเปิดช่องทางให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยเข้าถึงพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจ ต่อยอดการค้า และสำรวจโอกาสการลงทุนในตลาดลาตินอเมริกา
ไทยและบราซิลสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตเมื่อวันที่ 17 เมษายน 2502 และในปี 2569 ครบรอบ 67 ปีของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศ โดย ส.อ.ท. มุ่งใช้เครือข่ายความร่วมมือดังกล่าวเป็นฐานในการเชื่อมโยงภาคธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรมของทั้งสองฝ่ายให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น
ท่ามกลางภูมิทัศน์เศรษฐกิจโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลง การเปิดตลาดใหม่และการสร้างพันธมิตรระหว่างประเทศเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมไทย ส.อ.ท. จึงพร้อมสนับสนุนการเชื่อมโยงภาคเอกชนไทย–บราซิล เพื่อผลักดันจาก “ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ” ไปสู่ “ความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจ” ทั้งด้านการค้า การลงทุน เทคโนโลยี และอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
FTI is moving forward to strengthen the Thai-Brazil economic network, identifying Brazil as both a potential market and a crucial gateway to Latin America. This initiative seeks to leverage opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration in future industries, particularly in processed food and agriculture, automotive parts, clean energy, and modern manufacturing technology.
On September 7, 2026, Mr. Jan Namchaisiri, Vice President for Foreign Affairs of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Supakij Wanburoon, Chairman of the Thai-Latin America Business Council, participated in the celebration of Brazil National Day (Brazil Day 2026) and presented a flower basket to congratulate H.E. Mr. André Odenbreit Carvalho, the Brazilian Ambassador to Thailand. Mr. Saran Charoensuwan, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, also joined to congratulate the event, aiming to connect the Thai private sector with Brazilian business networks to expand markets and create international supply chain collaborations at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
Brazil has multifaceted potential that aligns well with Thai industries, including processed food and agriculture, automotive parts, clean energy, and modern manufacturing technology. Additionally, Brazil's membership in BRICS enhances its significance as an economic and trade link to countries that play influential roles in the global economy. Therefore, establishing a network with Brazilian businesses presents Thai entrepreneurs with opportunities to look beyond mere exports toward investment collaboration, technology transfer, and long-term supply chain integration.
This meeting reflects the ongoing commitment to building relationships between the Thai and Brazilian private sectors, serving as a crucial mechanism to open pathways for Thai entrepreneurs to access business partners, enhance trade, and explore investment opportunities in the Latin American market.
Thailand and Brazil established diplomatic relations on April 17, 1959, and in 2026, they celebrate the 67th anniversary of their relationship. FTI aims to utilize this cooperative network as a foundation to bring the business and industrial sectors of both parties closer together.
Amidst the changing landscape of the global economy, opening new markets and forging international partnerships are vital factors for enhancing the competitive capability of Thai industries. Thus, FTI is prepared to support the connection between the Thai and Brazilian private sectors to transition from 'international relations' to 'business cooperation' in trade, investment, technology, and future industries in a tangible manner.
