เมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. ประกอบด้วย นายสุวัชร์ ศุภกาญจน์เดชากุล รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายสุพจน์ สุขพิศาล กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. และนางสาวชญาณี สุวรรณภิมลกุล กรรมการ ส.อ.ท. หารือร่วมกับ ดร.พณชิต กิตติปัญญางาม ที่ปรึกษารองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง (ดร.เอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ) เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายในการส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย ครอบคลุมประเด็นการส่งเสริมยานยนต์เชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพ การส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงสินเชื่อ และการหารือความเป็นไปได้เกี่ยวกับโครงการรถเก่าแลกรถกระบะใหม่ของ ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ จะนำมาจัดทำเป็นข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย สำหรับนำเสนอต่อหน่วยงานภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถทางการแข่งขัน และรักษาสถานะความเป็นผู้นำในฐานะฐานการผลิตยานยนต์ชั้นนำของภูมิภาคและระดับโลกต่อไป
On August 4, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with FTI executives, including Mr. Suwatch Supakanddechakul, Vice Chairman of the FTI, Mr. Supachai Sukpisan, Executive Board Member of the FTI, and Ms. Chayanee Suwannapimolkul, Board Member of the FTI, held discussions with Dr. Ponnachit Kittipanya-ngam, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance (Dr. Ekkanit Nittithandprapass), to exchange opinions and policy recommendations for promoting the Thai automotive industry. The discussions covered topics such as promoting biofuel vehicles, enhancing access to loans, and exploring the feasibility of the old car trade-in program initiated by the FTI.
This discussion will contribute to the formulation of policy recommendations to be presented to relevant government agencies to enhance competitiveness and maintain the status of being a leading automotive manufacturing hub in the region and globally.
