เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2569 นายธีรเสฎฐ์ ธีรสิทธานาถ อนุกรรมการงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจภูมิภาคอาเซียน สายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ เป็นผู้แทนสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงาน C asean Forum 2026 (CaF 2026) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Resilient ASEAN: Connectivity as a Competitive Advantage” จัดโดยศูนย์ C asean ในโอกาสเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 59 ปีของการก่อตั้งอาเซียน ณ ศูนย์ C ชั้น 10 อาคารซีดับเบิลยู ทาวเวอร์ ถนนรัชดาภิเษก
งานดังกล่าว เป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในประเด็นสำคัญระดับภูมิภาคของอาเซียน เพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันท่ามกลางความไม่แน่นอนของสถานการณ์โลก โดยมีการรับฟังการเสวนาและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้จากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากทั่วภูมิภาค ในประเด็นสำคัญด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม พร้อมร่วมสำรวจแนวทางสร้างความร่วมมือที่เข้มแข็งยิ่งขึ้นระหว่างประเทศสมาชิก เพื่อผลักดันอาเซียนสู่การเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน มีความพร้อมรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลง และสร้างความได้เปรียบในการแข่งขันบนเวทีโลก
กิจกรรมสำคัญประกอบด้วย
- ปาฐกถาพิเศษ โดย ดร.ปานปรีย์ พหิทธานุกร ประธานคณะที่ปรึกษารองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ
- เสวนาในหัวข้อ “Strengthening ASEAN's Economic and Social Resilience” โดย ดร.กอบศักดิ์ ภูตระกูล กรรมการและรองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) โจเอล อัง (Joel Ang) รองประธานและหัวหน้าภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้และโอเชียเนีย คณะกรรมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของสิงคโปร์ (Singapore Economic Development Board: EDB) และเหงียน เฟื้อก ลิงห์ (Nguyen Phuoc Linh) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท เอฟพีที ประเทศไทยและไต้หวัน
- เสวนาในหัวข้อ “Strengthening ASEAN's Physical Resilience” โดย รศ.ดร.วิทยา วัณณสุโภประสิทธิ์ คณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และประธานคณะกรรมการศูนย์กันก่อนท่วม นางวรรณพร พรประภา ผู้ก่อตั้งและกรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท พี แลนด์สเคป จำกัด และซาโตชิ อิเอโมโตะ (Satoshi Iemoto) หัวหน้าที่ปรึกษาโครงการส่งเสริมการดำเนินการด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศในระดับท้องถิ่น (ประเทศไทย) องค์การความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศแห่งญี่ปุ่น (Japan International Cooperation Agency: JICA)
ปัจจุบันอาเซียนมีประชากรกว่า 680 ล้านคน คิดเป็นราวร้อยละ 8.5 ของประชากรโลก มี GDP รวมกันมากกว่า 4 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ และมีอัตราการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจเฉลี่ยราวร้อยละ 4.5 ต่อปี โดยความท้าทายที่ภูมิภาคต้องเผชิญ ได้แก่ ภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ที่ซับซ้อนขึ้น อาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ โดยเฉพาะแก๊งสแกมเมอร์ ความมั่นคงด้านพลังงานและอาหาร ความจำเป็นในการสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่มีความยืดหยุ่นและหลากหลายมากขึ้น ตลอดจนปัญหาระยะยาวอย่างสังคมสูงวัย การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ความเสื่อมโทรมของสิ่งแวดล้อม และช่องว่างการพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศสมาชิก
สำหรับทิศทางข้างหน้า อาเซียนอยู่ระหว่างดำเนินการตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ความเชื่อมโยงอาเซียน ปี 2026–2035 ซึ่งต่อยอดจากแผนแม่บทว่าด้วยความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างกันในอาเซียน (MPAC) 2025
On August 7, 2026, Mr. Theeraset Theerasittanan, a subcommittee member of the ASEAN Regional Business Promotion Committee under the ASEAN and Logistics Division, represented the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) at the C asean Forum 2026 (CaF 2026), themed "Resilient ASEAN: Connectivity as a Competitive Advantage," organized by the C asean Center to celebrate the 59th anniversary of ASEAN at the C Centre, 10th floor, CW Tower, Ratchadapisek Road.
The event served as a platform for exchanging views on key regional issues within ASEAN to enhance competitiveness amidst global uncertainty, featuring discussions and knowledge exchanges from distinguished speakers across the region on critical issues in economics, society, and the environment. It also aimed to explore stronger collaboration pathways among member countries to promote sustainable growth, readiness to face changes, and creation of competitive advantages on the global stage.
Key activities included
- A keynote address by Dr. Panprey Phaithanukorn, Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- A panel discussion on “Strengthening ASEAN's Economic and Social Resilience” featuring Dr. Kobsak Pootrakul, Board Member and Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Joel Ang, Vice President and Head of Southeast Asia and Oceania at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), and Nguyen Phuoc Linh, Chief Executive Officer of FPT Thailand and Taiwan.
- A panel discussion on “Strengthening ASEAN's Physical Resilience” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witya Vannasuphaprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University and Chair of the Steering Committee for Flood Prevention, Ms. Wannaporn Pornprapha, Founder and Managing Director of P Landscape Co.,Ltd, and Satoshi Iemoto, Chief Advisor for Climate Change Actions at the Local Level (Thailand), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Currently, ASEAN has a population of over 680 million people, accounting for around 8.5% of the world's population, with a combined GDP exceeding 4 trillion US dollars and an average annual economic growth rate of about 4.5%. The challenges facing the region include a complex geopolitical landscape, transnational crime, especially scam gangs, energy and food security, the need for more resilient and diversified supply chains, as well as long-term issues such as an aging society, climate change, environmental degradation, and the development gap among member states.
Looking ahead, ASEAN is implementing the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan 2026–2035, which builds upon the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025.
