เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเกียรติเป็นวิทยากรร่วมเสวนาในหลักสูตร “นักบริหารระดับสูงเพื่อการสร้างชาติ (นสช.)” รุ่นที่ 20 และบรรยายในหัวข้อ “SME ตั้งรับอย่างไรให้รอด รุกอย่างไรให้ชนะในสงครามการค้าโลกใหม่” โดยร่วมเสวนากับนายอัคคพล เสนาณรงค์ อดีตผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยเกษตรวิศวกรรม กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ และอดีตกรรมการบริหาร สำนักงานส่งเสริมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (สสว.) จัดโดยสถาบันการสร้างชาติ (NBI) ณ KOMPASS CAMPUS
ในการเสวนา นายเกรียงไกร ได้กล่าวถึงกฎระเบียบที่ล้าสมัย ปัญหาคอร์รัปชัน โครงสร้างงบประมาณที่ไม่สมดุล รวมถึงข้อจำกัดของระบบการศึกษาและเสถียรภาพทางการเมือง
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้กล่าวถึงความท้าทายของผู้ประกอบการ SME ที่ต้องเผชิญกับต้นทุนการผลิตที่สูง การขาดนวัตกรรม และมาตรฐานสินค้าที่ต้องยกระดับให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล รวมถึงข้อจำกัดด้านเงินทุนและบุคลากร พร้อมเสนอแนวทางสนับสนุนที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุน การขยายตลาดต่างประเทศ การจัดตั้ง One Stop Service เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ประกอบการ การสนับสนุนการลงทุนด้านเทคโนโลยีและการวิจัยพัฒนา (R&D) รวมถึงการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงานผ่านการ Reskill และ Upskill
ในระดับนโยบายประเทศ ได้เสนอให้เร่งดำเนินมาตรการสำคัญเพื่อฟื้นฟูเศรษฐกิจและยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทย อาทิ การเร่งรัดการลงทุนภาครัฐ การขยายความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) กับประเทศคู่ค้า การส่งเสริมการลงทุนผ่านมาตรการต่าง ๆ ของภาครัฐ รวมถึงการปรับปรุงกฎหมายและกฎระเบียบเพื่อเพิ่มความสะดวกในการดำเนินธุรกิจ พร้อมทั้งเสนอแนวคิดให้ประเทศไทยวางบทบาทเป็นกลางในเวทีเศรษฐกิจโลก และผลักดันประเทศสู่การเป็น “สวิตเซอร์แลนด์แห่งการลงทุนในภูมิภาค” เพื่อดึงดูดการลงทุนและเชื่อมโยงห่วงโซ่อุปทานของโลก
ทั้งนี้ ภายในงานมีผู้บริหาร ผู้ประกอบการ นักธุรกิจ และผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมรับฟังการเสวนา จำนวน 80 คน
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), had the honor of being a speaker in the discussion for the 'Senior Executive Program for National Development' (NBI) Class 20, presenting on the topic 'How SMEs Can Survive and Thrive in the New Global Trade War.' He participated in the discussion alongside Mr. Akkapon Senanurak, former Director of the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and former Executive Committee Member of the Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP). The event was organized by the National Building Institute (NBI) at KOMPASS CAMPUS.
During the discussion, Mr. Kriangkrai addressed outdated regulations, issues of corruption, unbalanced budget structures, as well as the limitations of the education system and political stability.
He also discussed the challenges faced by SMEs, including high production costs, lack of innovation, and the need to elevate product standards to meet international benchmarks, alongside limitations in funding and personnel. He proposed significant support measures, including promoting access to funding sources, expanding international markets, establishing One Stop Service to facilitate entrepreneurs, supporting investments in technology and research and development (R&D), and developing labor skills through reskilling and upskilling.
At the national policy level, he urged the acceleration of key measures to revive the economy and enhance Thailand's competitiveness, such as expediting public sector investment, expanding free trade agreements (FTAs) with trading partners, promoting investment through government measures, and improving laws and regulations to ease business operations. He also suggested that Thailand position itself as a neutral player on the global economic stage and drive the country toward becoming the 'Switzerland of Investment in the Region' to attract investments and connect the global supply chain.
The event saw participation from 80 executives, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and interested attendees.
