เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 4 มีนาคม 2567 นายสมศักดิ์ ศรีสุภรวาณิชย์ กรรมการบริหารสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และรองประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-ปากีสถาน เข้าร่วมงานครบรอบ 77 ปีของสาธารณรัฐอิสลามปากีสถาน ภายในงาน จัดการเฉลิมฉลองด้วยการจัดนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายจำนวนรวม 140 ภาพในชื่อ “ตระการตาปากีสถาน ครบรอบ 77 ปี เสรีภาพแห่งสาธารณรัฐอิสลามปากีสถาน” โดยผลงานของชิไว เดวิด เลา ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าปากีสถานเป็นประเทศที่มีภูมิทัศน์งดงาม ผู้คนเปี่ยมอัธยาศัยไมตรี ณ ชั้น 3 สยามพารากอน
นอกจากนี้ ภายในงาน ยังได้รับเกียรติจากนายชาดา ไทยเศรษฐ์ รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย กล่าวถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับปากีสถานที่แนบแน่น และได้รับเกียรติจากนายยาเซอร์ ฮุสเซน (Yasir Hussain) อุปทูตสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐอิสลามปากีสถานประจำประเทศไทย นางสาวบุษฎี สันติพิทักษ์ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ นายมุข สุไลมาน เลขานุการประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎร และเอกอัครราชทูตและคณะทูตจากประเทศต่าง ๆ กว่า 30 ประเทศ เข้าร่วมงาน
On Monday, March 4, 2024, Mr. Somsak Srisupharawanich, Executive Board Member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Vice Chairman of the Thai-Pakistan Business Council, attended the 77th anniversary celebration of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The event featured a special exhibition displaying a total of 140 photographs entitled “Captivating Pakistan: 77 Years of Freedom of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” showcasing the work of Shiwei David Lau, reflecting Pakistan as a country with beautiful landscapes and hospitable people, held on the 3rd floor of Siam Paragon.
Additionally, the event was honored by remarks from Mr. Chada Thaiseth, Deputy Minister of the Interior, discussing the close relations between Thailand and Pakistan. Mr. Yasir Hussain, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Thailand, Ms. Busadee Santipitak, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muk Sulaiman, Secretary to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and ambassadors and diplomats from over 30 countries also attended the event.
