วันที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายอสิ ตัณสถิตย์ และประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-อียิปต์ นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล และนายญาณพล ลิมปนะโชคชัย รองเลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ H.E. Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐอาหรับอียิปต์ประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ พร้อมทั้งหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมการค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน โดยเฉพาะในปี 2567 ที่จะครบรอบ 70 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-อียิปต์ โดยมีนางสาวศศิริทธิ์ ตันกุลรัตน์ อธิบดีกรมเอเชียใต้ ตะวันออกกลางและแอฟริกา กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ นายธนวัต ศิริกุล ว่าที่เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร และตัวแทนจากภาคธุรกิจอียิปต์ร่วมหารือ ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
On June 10, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI Vice Chairman Mr. Atsi Tanasathit and Chairman of the Thai-Egyptian Business Association Mr. Chatchai Panichchiva, Ms. Pecharae Aeksangkun, and Mr. Yanaphon Limpanachokchai, FTI Deputy Secretary-General, welcomed H.E. Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Thailand, on the occasion of her assuming office and discussed ways to promote trade, investment, and cooperation between the two countries, especially in 2024, which marks the 70th anniversary of Thai-Egyptian diplomatic relations, with Ms. Sasirith Tanakulrat, Director-General of the South Asia, Middle East and Africa Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Designate Ambassador to Cairo, and representatives from the Egyptian business sector participating in the discussions in the Mongkolsuthee meeting room at FTI.
