เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 16 กันยายน 2567 นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ ได้รับเกียรติเข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากร ในงานสัมมนาหัวข้อ “ACMECs Opportunities in the Seamless Connection” ภายใต้การสัมมนาเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจอิรวดี-เจ้าพระยา-แม่โขงที่ยั่งยืน "𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗖𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗦" ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้งาน 60 Years of Excellence โดยสมาคมการจัดการธุรกิจแห่งประเทศไทย (TMA) ในวาระฉลองครบรอบ 60 ปี ธีมงาน "Creating Great Leaders, Designing the Future" ณ บอลรูม ฮอลล์ 1- 3 ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์
งานดังกล่าว มีผู้นำจากองค์กรชั้นนำระดับโลกและระดับประเทศ รวมถึงผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากทุกภาคส่วนเข้าร่วมแบ่งปันวิสัยทัศน์ มุมมอง และแนวโน้มธุรกิจในอนาคต เพื่อสร้างศักยภาพการพัฒนาองค์กร ประเทศและภูมิภาคให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน โดยภายในงาน ส.อ.ท. ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในการสร้างความเข็มแข็งในกรอบความร่วมมือ ACMECS โดยกรอบความร่วมมือนี้จะขับเคลื่อนไปได้ ด้วยการที่สมาชิกทั้ง 5 ประเทศ ได้แก่ ไทย สปป.ลาว กัมพูชา เมียนมา และเวียดนาม เห็นถึงประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับร่วมกัน ในการเชื่อมโยงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานคมนาคมในภูมิภาคทั้งทางถนน ทางราง ทางเรือ และทางอากาศ ซึ่งจะเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนสำคัญที่ทำให้เกิดการขยายโอกาสทางการค้า การลงทุนระหว่างกัน
On Monday, September 16, 2024, Mr. Wethit Chokwatana, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the ASEAN and Logistics Sector, had the honor of serving as a speaker at the seminar titled “ACMECs Opportunities in the Seamless Connection” during the symposium to promote sustainable economic cooperation in the Irrawaddy-Chao Phraya-Mekong region "𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗖𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗦" which was held at the 60 Years of Excellence event organized by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) in celebration of its 60th anniversary, under the theme "Creating Great Leaders, Designing the Future," at the Ballroom Hall 1-3, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The event featured leaders from world-renowned and national organizations, as well as experts from various sectors who shared their visions, perspectives, and future business trends to enhance the developmental capacity of organizations, countries, and regions for sustainable growth. During the event, FTI exchanged views on strengthening the framework of ACMECS cooperation, which will be propelled forward as the 5 member countries, namely Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam, recognize the mutual benefits of connecting transportation infrastructure across the region, including road, rail, maritime, and air transport, which will be a crucial driver for expanding trade and investment opportunities among each other.
