เมื่อวันพุธที่ 18 กันยายน 2567 นายอภิภพ พึ่งชาญชัยกุล รองเลขาธิการ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนขึ้นเวทีเสวนา “ไทยควรเดินหน้านโยบายเศรษฐกิจการค้าอย่างไร เพื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยแข่งขันได้อย่างยั่งยืน” สอดคล้องต่อแผนปฏิบัติการด้านการค้าแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2568 - 2570 จัดโดย สำนักงานนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์การค้า (สนค.) กระทรวงพาณิชย์ โดยมี นางสาวณิชชาภัทร กาญจนอุดมการ ผู้อำนวยการกองยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาความสามารถทางการแข่งขัน (พข.) นำเสนอร่างแผนปฏิบัติการด้านการค้าดังกล่าว ซึ่งได้ผ่านการประชุม Focus Group ทั้งส่วนภูมิภาคและส่วนกลางแล้ว ณ โรงแรมนิกโก้ กรุงเทพฯ
ภายในงานเสวนาร่วมกับ 3 หน่วยงาน นำโดยผู้แทนสภาหอการค้า ดร.ชนินทร์ ชลิศราพงศ์ ประธานคณะกรรมการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ร่วมแบ่งปันมุมมอง Food Insecurity พร้อมผลักดันอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในประเทศให้แข็งแรง ยกระดับราคาสินค้าเกษตร โดยไม่กีดกันสินค้านำเข้า-ส่งออก
ด้านนายอภิภพ ยังได้แบ่งปันข้อเสนอที่ ส.อ.ท. เสนอกับนายกรัฐมนตรี ชูประเด็น 5 ข้อเสนอระยะเร่งด่วน อาทิ 1) การปกป้องอุตสาหกรรมในประเทศ จากสินค้านำเข้าไม่มีมาตรฐานและการทุ่มตลาด 2) การส่งเสริมสินค้าผลิตในไทยและสินค้าที่ได้รับรอง Made in Thailand 3) การลดต้นทุนการผลิต เพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันภาคอุตสาหกรรม 4) การส่งเสริมพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการ SMEs 5) การส่งเสริมการค้าชายแดนและพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์ทั้งระบบ รวมถึงข้อเสนอระยะกลางและยาว กับ 3 ข้อเสนอ อาทิ 1) การส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วน เพื่อรักษาฐานการผลิตในประเทศ 2) การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ หรือซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ในประเทศ 3) การปรับปรุงกฎหมาย กฎระเบียบ (Ease of Doing Business) และเพิ่มการเติบโตเศรษฐกิจ
นอกจากนี้ ผู้แทนสมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย ร่วมแบ่งปันมุมมองผู้ประกอบการรายย่อย ที่อยากให้ทุกภาคส่วนร่วมส่งเสริมให้ผู้ประกอบการ SMEs เติบโตไปพร้อมกับผู้ประกอบการรายใหญ่
ซึ่ง ดร.เนาวรัตน์ ทรงสวัสดิ์ชัย รองประธานสายงานแรงงาน ได้เข้าร่วม Public hearing ครั้งนี้ด้วย พร้อมด้วยตัวแทนภาครัฐ และเอกชนเข้าร่วมกว่า 70 ท่าน
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Mr. Apipob Phuengchanchaikul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the forum titled “How Should Thailand Advance Its Trade Economic Policy to Ensure Sustainable Competitiveness for Thai Enterprises?” This is in line with the National Trade Action Plan B.E. 2025-2027 organized by the Department of Trade Policy and Strategy, Ministry of Commerce. Ms. Nitthapat Kanchanoodum, Director of the Competitiveness Development Strategy Division, presented the draft of the trade action plan, which has already passed Focus Group meetings at both regional and central levels at the Nikko Hotel in Bangkok.
During the event, 3 organizations participated, led by the representative of the Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Chaninthorn Chalitsarapong, Chair of the International Trade Agreement Negotiation Committee, who shared insights on Food Insecurity and advocated for strengthening the domestic food industry while enhancing the prices of agricultural products without hindering the import-export of goods.
Mr. Apipob also shared proposals that the FTI presented to the Prime Minister, highlighting 5 urgent recommendations, including 1) protection of domestic industries from substandard imports and dumping, 2) promotion of Thai-made products and those certified as Made in Thailand, 3) reduction of production costs to enhance the competitiveness of the industrial sector, 4) promotion of the development of SMEs, and 5) promotion of border trade and the comprehensive development of logistics systems, along with medium- and long-term proposals, including 3 recommendations such as 1) promoting the automotive industry and components to maintain domestic production bases, 2) developing the creative industry or soft power in the country, and 3) reforming laws and regulations (Ease of Doing Business) to foster economic growth.
Additionally, representatives from the Thai SME Federation shared viewpoints from small entrepreneurs who wish for all sectors to collaboratively promote the growth of SMEs alongside large enterprises.
Dr. Naowarat Songsawaschai, Vice Chairman of the Labor Affairs Division, also participated in this public hearing, along with over 70 representatives from the public and private sectors.
