ส.อ.ท. ผนึกกำลังพัฒนากลุ่ม SMEs สู่ SMART SMEsFTI Collaborates to Develop SMEs into SMART SMEs

From September 24-25, 2024, the Small and Medium Enterprises Institute (SMI) collaborated with the Provincial Industrial Promotion and Support Branch of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to organize a planning meeting for the promotion of the industrial sector and SMEs by region/group (Central Region) to develop and elevate SMEs entrepreneurs into SMART SMEs. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Apichit Prasoprat, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the SMI, along with Mr. Apisit Techanitisawat, President of the Central Regional Industrial Council, Presidents of the Provincial Industrial Councils, representatives from 17 provincial councils, SMI Executive Committee members, and officials from the Provincial Industrial Councils in the Central Region at the Sai Yok Resort in Kanchanaburi Province.

During the meeting, various training sessions and activities were conducted, such as training on Critical & Systematic Thinking and brainstorming sessions to create plans for the promotion of the industrial sector and SMEs by region/group according to FTI's 4GO policy.

Additionally, training on public relations techniques and communication in the digital age was provided to communicate with members, training on project writing and project management, as well as brainstorming sessions to develop new activities or projects that could generate income for the Provincial Industrial Councils.

This meeting represents a significant step forward in the operations of the FTI and the Provincial Industrial Councils to drive the growth of SMEs in the Central Region for continuous advancement in the future.
