วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 26 กันยายน 2567 สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมกับคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ จัดอบรมหลักสูตร “ก้าวใหม่สู่การเพิ่มมูลค่าของเหลือทิ้งและลดการปล่อยคาร์บอน” โดยมีดร.เจริญ แก้วสุกใส ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม ส.อ.ท. กล่าวเปิดงาน พร้อมทั้ง รศ.ดร. อนุวัตร แจ้งชัด คณบดีคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร กล่าวต้อนรับ โดยการอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้บริหารจาก ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วม ได้แก่ นายสรณ์ปกรณ์ ศิรการบัณฑิตย์ เลขานุการสายงาน FTI Academy และนายพรชัย พูลสุขสมบัติ ที่ปรึกษากลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม และกรรมการสายงาน FTI Academy ณ อาคารอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร 2 ชั้น 2 ห้อง 2204 มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
หลักสูตรนี้ จัดขึ้นเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะด้านการบูรณาการและนวัตกรรมในการผลิตอาหารจากของเหลือทิ้งจากภาคอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและการเกษตร โดยมุ่งหวังให้ผู้ประกอบการเห็นโอกาสในการเปลี่ยนเศษอาหารที่ถูกทิ้ง อาหารที่หมดอายุ หรือของเสียที่เกิดขึ้นในระหว่างกระบวนการผลิต การจัดจำหน่าย หรือการบริโภค (Food Waste) ให้เป็นทรัพยากรที่มีคุณค่า พร้อมทั้งลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนสู่สิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในเป้าหมายสำคัญของการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการเชิญบริษัทชั้นนำร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การลดขยะให้เหลือศูนย์ (Net Zero Waste) เพื่อสร้างมูลค่าจากของเหลือทิ้ง ได้แก่ บริษัท เจริญโภคภัณฑ์อาหาร จำกัด (มหาชน) ที่มีแนวทางการเพิ่มมูลค่าจากของเสียในโรงเชือดไก่ เช่น เลือดไก่ กระดูก และขนไก่ บริษัท มิตรผล จำกัด ที่นำเสนอการสร้างมูลค่าจากของเสียในกระบวนการผลิตน้ำตาลทราย และบริษัท ไทยยูเนี่ยน กรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) ที่มีการนำของเสียจากกระบวนการผลิตทูน่ามาใช้ประโยชน์สูงสุด
การอบรมครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจและพัฒนาทักษะด้านการจัดการของเหลือทิ้งในภาคอุตสาหกรรม อันจะนำไปสู่การสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับธุรกิจและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต
On Thursday, September 26, 2024, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) collaborated with the Faculty of Agricultural Industry at Kasetsart University to hold a training course titled “New Steps towards Increasing the Value of Waste and Reducing Carbon Emissions.” Dr. Jaeroen Kaewsuksai, Chair of the Food and Beverage Industry Group at FTI, opened the event, with Associate Professor Dr. Anuwat Jaengchad, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Industry, welcoming attendees. Executives from FTI, including Mr. Sornpakorn Sirakanbantit, Secretary of FTI Academy, and Mr. Pornchai Poonsuksombat, Advisor to the Food and Beverage Industry Group and committee member of FTI Academy, also participated at Agricultural Industry Building 2, 2nd floor, Room 2204, Kasetsart University.
This course aims to develop skills in integration and innovation in food production from waste generated by the food and agricultural sectors. It seeks to help entrepreneurs recognize the opportunity to transform discarded food, expired food, or waste generated during production, distribution, or consumption (Food Waste) into valuable resources while also reducing carbon emissions into the environment, which is one of the key goals of sustainable development.
Additionally, leading companies were invited to share their experiences in achieving Net Zero Waste to create value from waste, including Charoen Pokphand Foods PLC, which focuses on increasing the value from by-products in chicken slaughterhouses, such as chicken blood, bones, and feathers; Mitr Phol Sugar Corporation, which presented on creating value from waste in the sugar production process; and Thai Union Group PLC, which maximizes the utility of waste from the tuna production process.
This training session is a significant step in enhancing understanding and developing skills in waste management within the industry, leading to increased business value and sustainably reducing environmental impact in the future.
