ส.อ.ท. เข้าพบปลัดกระทรวงอุตฯ เสนอข้อมูลประเภทโรงงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ BCG สนับสนุนการทำผังเมืองFTI Meets with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry to Propose Information on Factory Types Related to BCG to Support Urban Planning

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Mr. Thavee Piyapattanakorn, Senior Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Veerapol Puangphitayawut, Chairman of the Urban Planning and Industrial Estate Committee, Mr. Apisit Techanitisawat, Chairman of the Central Region Industrial Council, Dr. Suphach Wanprida-lekkoon, Chairman of the Northern Region Industrial Council, Mr. Sanguan Saengwongkit, Chairman of the Eastern Region Industrial Council, and Ms. Patchariya Jetsorn, Director of the Provincial Industrial Promotion and Support Division, met with Mr. Natthapol Rangsitphon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, to present the topic of urban planning regarding the development of "Information on Factory Types Related to BCG in Green Areas Not Designated as Conservation Zones to Support the Comprehensive Urban Planning of Districts" at the meeting room, AOG 2, 3rd Floor, Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry.

The presentation on urban planning concerning the development of "Information on Factory Types Related to BCG in Green Areas Not Designated as Conservation Zones to Support the Comprehensive Urban Planning of Districts" aims to support the BCG policy of the government regarding land utilization. The operational methods are as follows:

1. Discuss with relevant parties, including the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, and the Department of Industrial Works, about the implementation approaches to find suitable and mutually acceptable solutions.
2. Gather data on all industrial factories outside industrial estates for study and separate the agricultural processing factories for five crops (rice, rubber, cassava, oil palm, and sugarcane) from other types of factories based on the factory's location, district, province, and the specified type of factory (only one type per factory).
3. Combine the lists of factory types for each crop and include other types of factories related to those crops, as well as factories specifically related to BCG, particularly Circular and Green types, such as Type 106 factories, until complete.
4. Consult with representatives of operators of the five crops and representatives from the Department of Industrial Works to ensure the completeness of the factory types.
5. Finalize the data list of all existing and additional factory types and categorize them by their actual location, district, province, and region.
6. Provide data on the factory types for the five crops that currently exist and those planned for expansion within the next 3-5 years, categorized by region, province, and district, to the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, and deliver the information in a dashboard format to the Department of Industrial Works for future updates and continued operation.
