เมื่อวันที่ 30 ตุลาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเสวนาในงาน “Geopolitical Perspective : From Tension to Solutions” จัดโดยธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าแห่งประเทศไทย (EXIM BANK) ร่วมกับ MARSH PB ณ โรงแรม เซ็นต์ริจิส กรุงเทพฯ
งานนี้ จัดขึ้นเพื่อเสริมสร้างองค์ความรู้ ความเข้าใจต่อสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ (Geopolitics) ในปัจจุบันและแนวทางในการเตรียมพร้อมรับมือกับสถานการณ์ในอนาคต การใช้เครื่องมือทางการเงิน และเครื่องมือป้องกันความเสี่ยงขยายโอกาสการค้า การลงทุนโลก เพื่อนำไปใช้วางแผนธุรกิจให้เติบโตได้อย่างยั่งยืน โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนากว่า 100 ท่าน
นายเกรียงไกร ได้กล่าวถึง มุมมองของ ส.อ.ท. ต่อทิศทางด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ในระยะข้างหน้าว่า จากความขัดแย้งภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ เป็นทั้งวิกฤติและโอกาส โดยเอสเอ็มอีไทยต้องการกลไกช่วยปรับตัว เพื่อเปลี่ยนผ่าน สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด คือ การปรับตัวของผู้ประกอบการ ที่จะต้องมีกลยุทธ์ในการหาตลาดใหม่ๆ ซึ่งหากปรับไม่ทันอุตสาหกรรมนั้นอาจอ่อนแอลง
On October 30, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukool, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the seminar “Geopolitical Perspective: From Tension to Solutions” organized by the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM BANK) in collaboration with MARSH PB at the St. Regis Hotel, Bangkok.
This event aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of the current geopolitical conflict situation and strategies for preparedness for future scenarios. It focused on using financial instruments and risk management tools to expand global trade and investment opportunities, allowing businesses to plan for sustainable growth, with over 100 participants attending the seminar.
Mr. Kriangkrai discussed the FTI's perspective on future geopolitical directions, noting that geopolitical conflicts present both crises and opportunities. Thai SMEs require mechanisms to adjust and transition effectively. The most crucial aspect is the adaptability of entrepreneurs, who must strategize to find new markets; failing to do so may weaken their industries.
