เมื่อวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพิตติพัตน์ มั่นบุปผชาติ ประธานสถาบันอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารและผู้แทนสถาบันฯ เข้าพบ ดร.สุเมธ ตันติเวชกุล เลขาธิการมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา เพื่อหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรของไทยให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน ณ สำนักงานมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือในประเด็นสำคัญ ดังนี้
1. ยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรสู่ความยั่งยืน โดยส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (Green Economy) และการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มจากทรัพยากรชีวภาพ
2. ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจฐานชีวภาพ ผ่านการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชนและภาคการพัฒนา เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาประเทศ
3. เพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน ด้วยการพัฒนาห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่ยั่งยืน พร้อมสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการไทยสู่เวทีโลก
4. เตรียมความพร้อมรองรับกฎระเบียบสากล ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการค้าระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการแข่งขันในระยะยาว
การหารือครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของทั้งสององค์กรในการผลักดันภาคอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรของไทยให้เติบโตควบคู่กับการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ การสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มจากผลผลิตทางการเกษตร และการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของเกษตรกรไทย โดยอาศัยความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคการพัฒนา เพื่อขับเคลื่อนประเทศสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
ทั้งนี้ สถาบันอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ส.อ.ท. พร้อมเดินหน้าสานต่อความร่วมมือกับมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนาและภาคีเครือข่ายที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อผลักดันองค์ความรู้ นวัตกรรม และแนวทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรที่ตอบโจทย์ทั้งมิติด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม อันจะนำไปสู่การสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารและเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการแข่งขันของประเทศในระยะยาว
On June 30, 2026, Mr. Piti Pat Muanbuppachai, Chairman of the Agricultural Industry Institute, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with a team of executives and representatives from the institute, met with Dr. Sumeth Tantivejakul, Secretary-General of the Chai Pattana Foundation, to discuss and exchange views on approaches for sustainable development of the Thai agricultural industry at the Chai Pattana Foundation office.
Both parties discussed key issues as follows:
1. Elevate the agricultural industry towards sustainability by promoting a green economy and creating added value from bio-resources.
2. Drive the bioeconomy through the integration of cooperation between the private sector and the development sector to jointly propel the development of the country.
3. Enhance competitiveness by developing sustainable supply chains while supporting Thai entrepreneurs on the global stage.
4. Prepare to comply with international regulations concerning the environment and international trade to enhance long-term competitive capabilities.
This discussion reflects the commitment of both organizations to promote the Thai agricultural sector's growth alongside natural resource conservation, create added value from agricultural production, and improve the quality of life for Thai farmers by leveraging cooperation among government, private sector, and development sector to drive the country towards sustainable development.
Furthermore, the Agricultural Industry Institute of FTI is ready to continue its collaboration with the Chai Pattana Foundation and relevant partners to promote knowledge, innovation, and development approaches for the agricultural industry that address economic, social, and environmental dimensions, which will lead to food security and enhance the country's competitive capabilities in the long term.
