เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ประชุมหารือร่วมกับนายวิวรรธน์ ไกรพิสิทธิ์กุล ประธานคณะกรรมาธิการการพาณิชย์และการอุตสาหกรรม วุฒิสภา โดยหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการยกระดับภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อให้เกิดการพัฒนาในด้านต่างๆ อย่างยั่งยืน ณ ห้องประชุม Passion (802) ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
นายเกรียงไกร กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบันผู้ประกอบการไทยกำลังเผชิญกับสภาพปัญหาในหลายๆ ด้าน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการแข่งขันด้านการผลิตและการขายสินค้า เนื่องจากมีสินค้าที่มีราคาถูก และไม่ได้มาตรฐานไหลทะลักเข้ามาในประเทศเป็นจำนวนมาก ส่วนไทยมีต้นทุนการผลิตที่สูง ขาดเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ผลิตภาพแรงงานต่ำและขาดแคลนแรงงาน รวมถึงการแข่งขันที่รุนแรงในตลาดและการทุ่มตลาด ส่งผลกระทบทำให้ผู้ประกอบการไม่สามารถแข่งขันในตลาดได้ ปัจจัยเหล่านี้ส่งผลให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยต้องเร่งพัฒนา และยกระดับการผลิตให้เกิดความเข้มแข็ง
ส.อ.ท. ในฐานะตัวแทนภาคอุตสาหกรรม มีนโยบายในการส่งเสริมและยกเครื่องอุตสาหกรรมไทย โดยแบ่งเป็น
1) อุตสาหกรรมเดิม (First Industries) มีการส่งเสริมให้มีการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ระบบอัตโนมัติ (Automation) และระบบ AI & Robotic รวมทั้งเปลี่ยนจาก OEM เป็น ODM/OBM
2) อุตสาหกรรมใหม่ (Next-Gen Industries) ขับเคลื่อนด้วยนโยบายอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว (Green Industry) เทคโนโลยีสะอาด (Clean Technology) และการมุ่งสู่การปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซต์สุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) เนื่องจากเวทีการค้าโลกให้ความสำคัญกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสภาพภูมิอากาศ และเริ่มนำนโยบายการค้าที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมมาใช้ เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ ส.อ.ท. ยังมีการขับเคลื่อนแผนงาน 4GO ได้แก่ 1. Go Digital & AI 2. Go Innovation 3. Go Global และ 4. Go Green
จากการประชุมร่วมกัน คณะกรรมาธิการพาณิชย์และอุตสาหกรรม พร้อมที่จะขับเคลื่อนภาคอุตสาหกรรม ผ่านกลไกของนิติบัญญัติ และเชิญหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องให้ข้อมูล เช่น การแก้ไขปรับปรุงกฎหมายที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการพัฒนา การค้า และส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมไทย เพื่อช่วยผลักดันให้อุตสาหกรรมไทยเกิดความเข้มแข็ง และเกิดการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
On Friday, November 15, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), held a meeting with Mr. Wiwattan Khaipisitkul, Chairman of the Senate Commerce and Industry Committee, to discuss and exchange views on enhancing the industrial sector for sustainable development at the Passion meeting room (802), 8th floor of FTI.
Mr. Kriangkrai stated that Thai entrepreneurs are currently facing various challenges, particularly in production and sales competition. This is primarily due to the influx of low-priced and substandard products into the country. Meanwhile, Thailand has high production costs, lacks technology and innovation, experiences low labor productivity and labor shortages, along with fierce competition in the market and dumping strategies. These factors have hindered entrepreneurs' ability to compete in the market, resulting in the urgent need for the Thai industrial sector to advance and strengthen its production capabilities.
As a representative of the industrial sector, FTI has policies to promote and reform the Thai industry, which can be categorized into
1) Traditional Industries promote the use of digital technology, automation systems, and AI & Robotics, as well as shifting from OEM to ODM/OBM
2) Next-Gen Industries are driven by green industry policies, clean technology, and the goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions due to the global trade arena's emphasis on climate change and the implementation of environmentally friendly trade policies to lead towards sustainable development.
Furthermore, FTI is also driving the 4GO initiative, which includes 1. Go Digital & AI 2. Go Innovation 3. Go Global and 4. Go Green.
Following the joint meeting, the Commerce and Industry Committee is ready to advance the industrial sector through legislative mechanisms and invite relevant agencies to provide information, such as amendments to laws that hinder development, trade, and the promotion of Thai industries, to help strengthen the Thai industry and ensure sustainable development moving forward.
