เมื่อวันที่ 23-25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) ครั้งที่ 1 ประจำปี 2025 ณ นครบริสเบน ออสเตรเลีย
การประชุม ABAC 2025 ภายใต้การนำของสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีจัดขึ้นภายใต้ธีม "Bridge. Business. Beyond." โดยมุ่งเน้นการเชื่อมโยงแนวคิด ผู้คน และเศรษฐกิจ ขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตผ่านนวัตกรรม และย้ำความมุ่งมั่นในการสร้างอนาคตที่มั่งคั่งสำหรับทุกคน
ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ ABAC เห็นว่า APEC ควรรับมือกับความไม่แน่นอนทางเศรษฐกิจโลกและผลักดันให้เกิดความร่วมมือที่เป็นเอกภาพในกลุ่มเศรษฐกิจ APEC โดยเน้นการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนและทั่วถึงผ่านการบูรณาการทางเศรษฐกิจที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น นวัตกรรมดิจิทัล การดูแลสุขภาพอัจฉริยะ และการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานที่เป็นจริง โดยมีเป้าหมายสำคัญ ได้แก่ การเสริมสร้างกรอบการค้า การใช้ AI เพื่อสนับสนุนภาคธุรกิจ และการผลักดันการลงทุนที่ลดการปล่อยคาร์บอน
From February 23-25, 2025, Mr. Vateet Chokwatana, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the 1st meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in Brisbane, Australia.
The ABAC 2025 meeting, under the leadership of the Republic of Korea, was held under the theme "Bridge. Business. Beyond." The focus was on connecting ideas, people, and economies, driving growth through innovation, and reaffirming the commitment to creating a prosperous future for all.
In this meeting, ABAC emphasized that APEC should address global economic uncertainties and promote unified cooperation among APEC economies, focusing on sustainable and inclusive growth through deeper economic integration, digital innovation, smart healthcare, and a realistic energy transition. Key objectives include enhancing the trade framework, utilizing AI to support the business sector, and promoting investments that reduce carbon emissions.
