เมื่อวันพุธที่ 23 เมษายน 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้มอบหมายให้นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมการประชุมรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากผู้ประกอบการและภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากนโยบายการขึ้นภาษีของประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ร่วมกับนางสาวณัฏฐิญา เนตยสุภา อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม ณ ห้องประชุม 1 ชั้น 6 อาคารส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม
ที่ประชุม ภาคเอกชนได้ชี้แจงเกี่ยวกับผลกระทบและความกังวลที่เกี่ยวกับการสวมสิทธิ์สินค้า การทุ่มตลาดของสินค้าจากต่างประเทศ และต้นทุนในการส่งออกสินค้าไปยังสหรัฐฯ ที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น และได้เสนอความเห็นในการบรรเทาผลกระทบดังกล่าว อาทิ ขอให้สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) พิจารณาการกลั่นกรองการให้สิทธิประโยชน์ให้รอบคอบมากขึ้น เพิ่มความเข้มข้นในการออกใบรับรอง Certificate of Origin (C/O) ให้กับผู้ประกอบการ และขอให้ภาครัฐมีการบังคับใช้กฎหมายที่เข้มงวดและรวดเร็วมากขึ้น
ขณะที่กรมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม แจ้งว่าเห็นด้วยกับตามที่ ส.อ.ท. เสนอมา โดยเฉพาะการสนับสนุนสินค้า Made in Thailand (MiT) และพร้อมสนับสนุนกระบวนการตรวจใบ Certificate of Origin (C/O) ร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อป้องกันสินค้าสวมสิทธิ์ต่อไป
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), appointed Mr. Nava Chanthanasurok, Vice Chairman of FTI, to represent the organization in a meeting to gather feedback from affected entrepreneurs and the Thai industrial sector regarding the tax policy of the United States, alongside Ms. Nattiya Netyasupha, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion, at Meeting Room 1, 6th Floor, Industry Promotion Building, Ministry of Industry.
During the meeting, private sector representatives expressed concerns and impacts related to product certification infringements, the dumping of foreign products, and the increasing costs of exporting goods to the United States. They also proposed suggestions to mitigate these impacts, such as requesting the Board of Investment (BOI) to consider a more thorough vetting process for benefits, enhancing the issuance of Certificate of Origin (C/O) to entrepreneurs, and urging the government to enforce stricter and faster implementation of the laws.
Meanwhile, the Department of Industrial Promotion indicated its support for the proposals made by the FTI, particularly the support for Made in Thailand (MiT) products, and is ready to collaborate with relevant agencies in the process of verifying Certificates of Origin (C/O) to prevent product infringements.
