On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of FTI, presided over the ceremony and officially opened the Eastern Foods and Fruits Valley 2025 event, honored by Mr. Montasit Paisanthanawat, Governor of Chanthaburi Province, Mr. Tavee Piyaphatana, Senior Vice President of FTI, Mr. Apichit Pasoprath, Mr. Nawa Jantanasurakorn, Mr. Wiwat Hemmontarap, Vice Presidents of FTI, along with heads of governmental agencies in Chanthaburi Province and committee members of the Federation of Thai Industries from across the country attending the ceremony at the loading dock in front of the Chanthaburi Provincial Administration Organization.

The Eastern Foods and Fruits Valley 2025 event is a grand exhibition showcasing food and fruit products, taking place from May 2 to May 11, 2025, at the loading dock in front of the Chanthaburi Provincial Administration Organization. The event aims to demonstrate the potential of the eastern region's eight provinces, including Chonburi, Rayong, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat, with Chanthaburi serving as the hub of the Eastern “Food Valley.”

Within the event, there are various interesting zones, starting with the Food Valley zone, showcasing advancements in food innovation from over 80 booths of entrepreneurs and startups, allowing visitors to experience new food ideas and products. Next is the technology and agricultural machinery zone, which collects tools and innovations that improve agricultural efficiency from over 50 expert booths. For those interested in plants, there is a plant variety zone with more than 100 booths featuring decorative plants, fruit-bearing trees, and rare plants. Additionally, there is a processed wood products zone presenting high-quality wooden items such as furniture, home decor, and various utensils, with a total of 100 booths. Finally, there is a food and amusement zone comprising a variety of restaurant booths offering diverse menus alongside entertainment activities for families and children, totaling over 200 booths. Furthermore, many highlight activities are available, including a delicious durian species contest for the Royal Cup and cash prizes, the Talk Tale Event matching herbal drinks and fruits with local foods, as well as handicraft workshops such as jewelry-making, mat weaving, and dyeing textiles using fruit peels and herbs. There is also a Food Valley exhibition showcasing food innovations from eastern SMEs and a quality fruit market with local organic products, under the theme “Shop - See - Taste” in a friendly atmosphere.

The Eastern Foods and Fruits Valley 2025 event serves as a significant platform showcasing the potential in food, agriculture, and innovation of the eastern region while promoting cooperation among various sectors to elevate Thailand as a hub for food and fruits, driving sustainable economic growth at both national and international levels.
