ส.อ.ท. ร่วมประชุมคณะอนุกรรมาธิการด้านการค้าและความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจไทย-สหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย ครั้งที่ 5FTI Participates in the 5th Meeting of the Thai-Russian Economic and Trade Cooperation Subcommittee

On July 16, 2025, Mr. Asi Tansatit, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Wiwat Hemmantara, Vice Chairman of the FTI and Vice Chairman of the Thai-Russian Business Council, represented the Thai private sector in discussions with Russian private sector representatives during the "5th Meeting of the Thai-Russian Economic and Trade Cooperation Subcommittee" to exchange information on the economy, trade, and investment between the two countries at the Athenee Hotel Bangkok.

During the meeting, representatives from the Russian private sector participated in presenting information on various business sectors, including logistics systems, green economy, artificial intelligence (AI), medical technology, and semiconductors. Moreover, representatives from the FTI reflected on the challenges regarding payment transactions between Thailand and Russia, which remain significant obstacles to trade and tourism between the two countries. Consequently, discussions were held on solutions, advocating for the promotion of continuous business matching activities between the private sectors of both countries to expand trade and investment opportunities in the future.
