วันศุกร์ที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเกียรติเป็นวิทยากรการเสวนาในการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ เรื่องการสร้างความตระหนักรู้ในการเข้าเป็นสมาชิกองค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา (OECD) ของประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 2 จัดโดยสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ ร่วมกับ ดร.ศุภฤกษ์ ชมชาญ ที่ปรึกษาสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย และ ดร.พชรพจน์ นันทรามาศ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ธนาคารกรุงไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ณ โรงแรมเจดับบลิว แมริออท กรุงเทพฯ
ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ได้นำเสนอ 8 แนวทางยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทย ได้แก่ 1. ปรับปรุงกฎหมาย กฎระเบียบ เพื่อส่งเสริมความยากง่ายในการประกอบธุรกิจ (Ease of Doing Business) 2. พัฒนาบุคลากร เพิ่มผลิตภาพแรงงาน และแก้ไขปัญหาขาดแคลนแรงงานทั้งระบบ 3. บริหารจัดการด้านพลังงานทั้งระบบ รองรับการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงาน (Energy Transition) 4. ส่งเสริมการส่งออก การค้า และสนับสนุนการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย S-Curve 5. ยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมด้วยเทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม และดิจิทัล 6. พัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน (BCG&ESG) การบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำ และการมุ่งสู่เป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) 7. ส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพของผู้ประกอบการ SMEs 8. พัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านโลจิสติกส์ (Logistics) และพื้นที่สำหรับอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ และมุ่งสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของประเทศไทย
นอกจากนี้ ภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และประชาชน ควรเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการผลักดันการเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD ของประเทศไทย เพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐาน รวมถึงเข้าถึงข้อมูลและเครือข่ายต่างๆ ที่จะเป็นประโยชน์ และสามารถขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทย ให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากลต่อไป
On Friday, February 23, 2024, Dr. Pharm. Nilsuwann Leelaratsamee, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was honored to serve as a speaker at a workshop on raising awareness regarding Thailand's accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) membership, the second of its kind, organized by the National Economic and Social Development Council in collaboration with Dr. Supharak Chomchan, Advisor to the Thailand Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Pocharapoj Nantaramas, Assistant Managing Director of Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok.
Dr. Pharm. Nilsuwann presented eight strategic approaches to elevate the Thai industry: 1. Review laws and regulations to promote ease of doing business, 2. Develop human resources, increase labor productivity, and address the overall labor shortage, 3. Manage energy comprehensively to support energy transition, 4. Promote exports and trade, and support investments in targeted S-Curve industries, 5. Enhance industries with technology, innovation, and digital solutions, 6. Develop sustainable industry (BCG&ESG), manage water resources, and aim for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, 7. Promote and enhance the capabilities of SMEs, and 8. Develop logistics infrastructure and industrial zones to enhance competitiveness, drive economic growth, and aim for sustainable development in Thailand.
Furthermore, the government, private sector, and citizens should play a part in advocating for Thailand's membership in the OECD to enhance standards and access beneficial data and networks that will propel Thailand to be recognized internationally.
