วันพุธที่ 27 มีนาคม 2567 นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมประชุมคณะกรรมการพัฒนาระบบการบริหารจัดการขนส่งสินค้าและบริการของประเทศ ครั้งที่ 1/2567 โดยการประชุมครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากนายสมศักดิ์ เทพสุทิน รองนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานในการประชุม ณ ห้องประชุม 521 อาคาร 5 ชั้น 2 สำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ
ที่ประชุมได้มีการหารือเกี่ยวกับแผนปฏิบัติการด้านการพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศไทย พ.ศ. 2566 – 2570 ความก้าวหน้าการพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศไทย ทั้งมิติ 1) การพัฒนาระบบ National Single Window (NSW) หรือระบบการบริการเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคธุรกิจ สำหรับการนำเข้า ส่งออก และโลจิสติกส์รองรับการเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน และประเทศในภูมิภาคอื่นๆ 2) การพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์อุตสาหกรรม 3) การพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์ภาคการเกษตร 4) การพัฒนาระบบบริหารจัดการท่าเรือในประเทศ รวมถึง 5) การก่อสร้างสถานีรถไฟความเร็วสูง กรุงเทพฯ – นครราชสีมา และนครราชสีมา- หนองคาย เพื่อรองรับการเปิดให้บริการเส้นทางรถไฟสายสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว – สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน
นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังร่วมกันพิจารณาเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการเพิ่มสัดส่วนการขนส่งสินค้าทางรางเข้าสู่ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง เพื่อส่งเสริมการเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการขนส่งสินค้าและแนวทาง
การส่งเสริมการถ่ายลำทางเรือ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้ไทยเป็น Transshipment Port หรือท่าเรือแบบถ่ายลำ เป็นศูนย์รวมในการเก็บและกระจายตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับแนวทางการพัฒนาด้านโลจิสติกส์ของไทยภายใต้แผนปฏิบัติการด้านโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศไทย พ.ศ. 2566 – 2570 ด้วย
On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Mr. Vetith Chokwatana, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the organization at the first meeting of the National Transport Logistics Management Development Committee 2024, which was honored by the presence of Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister, who chaired the meeting at Meeting Room 521, Building 5, 2nd Floor, National Economic and Social Development Council Office.
The meeting discussed the action plan for developing Thailand's logistics system for 2023 - 2027, the progress in developing Thailand's logistics system in various dimensions: 1) Development of the National Single Window (NSW) system, which connects information between government agencies and the business sector for imports, exports, and logistics to support data connectivity among ASEAN member countries and other regions; 2) Development of industrial logistics systems; 3) Development of agricultural logistics systems; 4) Development of port management systems within the country; and 5) Construction of high-speed rail stations from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima and Nakhon Ratchasima to Nong Khai to support the opening of railway services linking the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the People's Republic of China.
Furthermore, the meeting also considered approaches to increase the proportion of goods transported by rail to Laem Chabang Port to promote a shift in the transportation mode and methods of
supporting transshipment to establish Thailand as a Transshipment Port or a hub for storing and distributing containers, which aligns with the logistics development guidelines under Thailand's logistics action plan for 2023 - 2027.
