เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2567 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงานแสดงสินค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับ Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2024 (JGAB) ซึ่งจัดโดย อินฟอร์มา มาร์เก็ต ประเทศไทย ร่วมกับกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับ ส.อ.ท. สมาคมการค้ากลุ่มอัญมณีเครื่องประดับและโลหะมีค่า สภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมการค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับอาเซียน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายภาสกร ชัยรัตน์ อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรม กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม นายมนู เลียวไพโรจน์ ประธานอินฟอร์มา มาร์เก็ตส์ ประเทศไทย และ Ms. Celine Lau ผู้อำนวยการจัดงานแสดงสินค้า อินฟอร์มา มาร์เก็ตส์ กล่าวเปิดงาน ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์
งาน JGAB เป็นงานแสดงสินค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ซึ่งจัดขึ้นตั้งแต่วันนี้ถึงวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2567 นี้ โดยมีผู้ออกงานแสดงสินค้ากว่า 15 ประเทศทั่วโลก ภายในงานได้รวมสินค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับที่มีคุณภาพ หายาก และได้มาตรฐานระดับสากล
นอกจากนี้ JGAB ยังเป็นงานที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยได้พบปะเจรจาธุรกิจกับผู้เข้าชมงานและผู้ประกอบการจากต่างประเทศ ซึ่งจะแสดงถึงศักยภาพและความพร้อมของประเทศไทยในการเป็น Gem & Jewelry Hub
On May 1, 2024, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the opening ceremony of the Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2024 (JGAB) exhibition organized by Informa Markets Thailand in collaboration with the Gem and Jewelry Industry Group of FTI, the Thai Chamber of Commerce's Gem and Jewelry Trade Association, and the ASEAN Gem and Jewelry Trade Association. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Patsakorn Chaiyarat, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry, Mr. Manu Leowphairoj, President of Informa Markets Thailand, and Ms. Celine Lau, Director of Informa Markets, who delivered the opening remarks at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The JGAB is the largest gem and jewelry exhibition in Southeast Asia, taking place from today until May 4, 2024, featuring exhibitors from over 15 countries worldwide. The event showcases high-quality, rare gems and jewelry that meet international standards.
Moreover, JGAB serves as a platform for Thai operators to engage in business discussions with attendees and international businesses, highlighting Thailand's potential and readiness to be a Gem & Jewelry Hub.
