เมื่อวันที่ 21 มกราคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน นายวรวิทย์ จำเริญเลิศ และนางสาวยศรา ลิมป์ไพฑูรย์ และกรรมการสถาบันฯ เข้าร่วมงาน The China-Thailand Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo Promotion Event โดยนายเหริน หงปิน (Mr. Ren Hongbin) ประธานสภาส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน (CCPIT) เป็นประธานในการจัดงาน เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุนของทั้งสองประเทศ และได้รับเกียรติจากนายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ นายธนินทร์ เจียรวนนท์ ประธานอาวุโสเครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ นายวิกรม กรมดิษฐ์ ประธานกรรมการบริหาร บมจ. อมตะ คอร์ปอเรชัน และนายสนั่น อังอุบลกุล ประธานคณะกรรมการหอการค้าไทย และสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย เข้าร่วมกล่าวต้อนรับ ณ หอการค้าไทย-จีน อาคารไทยซีซี
นายอรุณ ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีต่อคณะผู้จัดงาน China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) และยืนยันความพร้อมในการสนับสนุนการจัดงานดังกล่าว รวมถึงการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระยะยาวระหว่างไทยและจีน ผ่านการสนับสนุนการใช้ซัพพลายเชนในประเทศ นอกจากนี้ยังได้มีการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ระหว่างสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย และ China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC Group) ซึ่งเป็นผู้จัดงานแสดงสินค้าดังกล่าวอีกด้วย
การเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทยของนายเหริน หงปิน ประธานสภาส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน (CCPIT) ครั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปี แห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–จีน รวมถึงสนับสนุนการจัดงาน The 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้น ณ กรุงปักกิ่งในเดือนกรกฎาคม 2568 อีกด้วย
On January 21, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Arun Iamsuree, President of the Thailand-China Economic and Investment Institute, Mr. Worawit Jamroenlert, and Ms. Yosara Limpaitoon, as well as board members of the Institute, attended The China-Thailand Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo Promotion Event. The event was presided over by Mr. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Mr. Thanin Chiaravanon, Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, Chief Executive Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, and Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Thai Industries, who delivered welcoming remarks at the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Thai CC Building.
Mr. Arun expressed his congratulations to the organizers of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and affirmed the readiness to support the organization of the event, as well as to strengthen long-term cooperation between Thailand and China through the support of domestic supply chains. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Federation of Thai Industries and China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC Group), the organizer of the trade show.
Mr. Ren Hongbin's visit to Thailand aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China and to support the organization of The 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), which will take place in Beijing in July 2025.
