วันอังคารที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการ ส.อ.ท. ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนายญาณ บาตอร์เช็ก (H.E. Mr. Jan Bartošek) รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรสาธารณรัฐเช็ก พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมาธิการด้านเศรษฐกิจ และคณะนักธุรกิจจากสาธารณรัฐเช็ก เนื่องในโอกาสเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการในฐานะแขกของรัฐสภา โดยมีนายปาเวล ปีเตล (H.E. Mr. Pavel Pitel) เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเช็กประจำประเทศไทย เข้าร่วมการต้อนรับและหารือ ณ ห้อง PTT Group ส.อ.ท.
สาธารณรัฐเช็กเป็นประเทศอุตสาหกรรมที่สำคัญของยุโรป โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ และมีอุตสาหกรรมหลักที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ อุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศ เครื่องมือแพทย์ วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี โดยเฉพาะเทคโนโลยีชั้นสูง ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบาย Next Gen-Industry อุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคตของไทย
ทั้งนี้ ในการหารือ ส.อ.ท. และคณะจากสาธารณรัฐเช็ก มีความยินดี และให้การสนับสนุนการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ไทย-สหภาพยุโรป ซึ่งจะเป็นโอกาสในการดึงดูดการลงทุน และส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างกันให้มากขึ้นอีกด้วย
On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI committee members, welcomed H.E. Mr. Jan Bartošek, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, along with the Economic Commission and a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Czech Republic on the occasion of their official visit to Thailand as guests of the Parliament. H.E. Mr. Pavel Pitel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Thailand, also participated in the welcoming and discussions at the PTT Group room of the FTI.
The Czech Republic is an important industrial country in Europe, particularly in the automotive sector, and has key industries including defense, medical instruments, and science and technology, especially advanced technology. This aligns with Thailand’s Next Gen-Industry policy for the industry of the future.
During the discussions, FTI and the delegation from the Czech Republic expressed their willingness and support for negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Thailand and the European Union, which will provide opportunities to attract investment and enhance trade between the two parties.
