วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล นายปรนนท์ ฐิตะวรรโณ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และคณะกรรมการฯ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ H.E. Mr. Javier Viveros รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการด้านการลงทุนและส่งออก กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมและการค้า สาธารณรัฐปารากวัย พร้อมด้วย H.E. Mr. Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos
เอกอัครราชทูตปารากวัยประจำประเทศไทย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงนิวเดลี เนื่องในโอกาสเยือนประเทศไทย ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
ในการหารือครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและปารากวัย โดยเน้นย้ำถึงโอกาสในการขยายการค้าสินค้าเกษตร อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร รวมถึงพลังงานหมุนเวียน ซึ่งเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่ทั้งสองประเทศให้ความสำคัญ
สำหรับในด้านอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร มีการหารือถึงการส่งเสริมการค้าสินค้าเกษตรแปรรูปและผลิตภัณฑ์อาหาร โดยเฉพาะสินค้าคุณภาพสูงที่สามารถแข่งขันในตลาดโลกได้
ขณะเดียวกัน ปารากวัยยังมีศักยภาพเป็นแหล่งผลิตสินค้าเกษตรที่สำคัญ ซึ่งสามารถเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือกับไทยในด้านการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีการแปรรูปอาหารและระบบโลจิสติกส์ สำหรับพลังงานหมุนเวียน
ทั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องถึงความสำคัญของการส่งเสริมการลงทุนและแลกเปลี่ยนเทคโนโลยีด้านพลังงานสะอาด เช่น พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ พลังงานลม และพลังงานชีวภาพ ซึ่งเป็นกุญแจสำคัญในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจที่ยั่งยืน
การหารือครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยและปารากวัย ซึ่งทั้งสองฝ่ายยืนยันถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการขยายความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นรูปธรรม เพื่อประโยชน์ร่วมกันต่อไปในอนาคต
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Theerapat, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Ms. Phetcharat Ekkasangkun, Mr. Panan Thaithaworn, Vice Chairmen of FTI, and board members, welcomed H.E. Mr. Javier Viveros, Assistant Minister of Investment and Export of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Paraguay, together with H.E. Mr. Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos,
Ambassador of Paraguay to Thailand, residing in New Delhi, on the occasion of his visit to Thailand at the Mongkhon Suthi Room, FTI.
During this discussion, both parties exchanged views on ways to promote economic cooperation, trade, and investment between Thailand and Paraguay, emphasizing opportunities for expanding trade in agricultural products, food industries, and renewable energy, which are prioritized in both countries.
Regarding the food industry, the discussion focused on promoting trade in processed agricultural products and food products, particularly high-quality goods that can compete in the global market.
At the same time, Paraguay also has the potential to be a major agricultural production source, which can strengthen collaboration with Thailand in developing food processing technologies and logistics systems for renewable energy.
Both parties acknowledged the importance of promoting investment and technology exchange in clean energy, such as solar energy, wind energy, and bioenergy, which are key to sustainable economic development.
This discussion marks an important step in strengthening economic relations between Thailand and Paraguay, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to expanding concrete cooperation for mutual benefit in the future.
