เมื่อวันที่ 12 มีนาคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ นางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล และนายนาวา จันทนสุรคน รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนายนอเศเรดดีน ฮัยแดรี (H.E. Dr. Nassereddin Heidari) เอกอัครราชทูตอิหร่านประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อหารือถึงความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ประเทศไทยและอิหร่านมีความสัมพันธ์มาอย่างยาวนานกว่า 400 ปี และในปี 2568 นี้ ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญที่ทั้งสองประเทศกำลังจะครบรอบ 70 ปี ของการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกัน โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้มีการหารือถึงแนวทางส่งเสริมการค้า การลงทุน และการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนของภาคเอกชน และพร้อมเชิญภาคเอกชนไทยเข้าร่วมงาน Iran Expo 2025 ซึ่งมีกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 28 เมษายน - 2 พฤษภาคม 2568 ณ กรุงเตหะราน เพื่อเป็นโอกาสในการสร้างเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจระหว่างไทยและอิหร่านในอนาคต
On March 12, 2025, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Wichawoon Rukpongphairoj, Mr. Chatchai Panichchiew, Ms. Pechrat Ekkasangkun, and Mr. Nava Janthanasurakhan, Vice Chairmen of FTI, welcomed H.E. Dr. Nassereddin Heidari, Iranian Ambassador to Thailand, to discuss cooperation between the two parties at the Mongkolsutthi Room, 8th Floor, FTI.
Thailand and Iran have maintained a longstanding relationship for over 400 years, and in 2025, both countries are set to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Discussions centered on promoting trade, investment, and exchanges of private sector visits, with an invitation extended to Thai private sector representatives to participate in the Iran Expo 2025, scheduled to be held from April 28 to May 2, 2025, in Tehran, to create future business networking opportunities between Thailand and Iran.
