เมื่อวันพุธที่ 2 เมษายน 2568 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน และรองประธานสถาบันวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมอุตสาหกรรมการผลิต (SMI) สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.สรณันท์ จิวะสุรัตน์ รองประธานสถาบัน SMI นายสุพจน์ ชัยวิไล กรรมการสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน และ SMI และนางสาวยศรา ลิมป์ไพฑูรย์ ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการ สถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน ให้การต้อนรับ Mr.Liu Jiawei Deputy Secretary-General of Legal Affairs สมาคมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน (China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises หรือ CASME) เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน ณ ส.อ.ท.
การหารือครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่าง SME ไทยและจีนในด้านต่างๆ อาทิ การแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและองค์ความรู้ การส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุน การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ตลอดจนการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้ประกอบการทั้งสองประเทศ
นายอรุณ กล่าวว่า "ส.อ.ท. เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของความร่วมมือกับ CASME ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมและพัฒนา SME ในประเทศจีน การหารือในครั้งนี้ จึงถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและแสวงหาแนวทางความร่วมมือที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อ SME ของทั้งสองประเทศ"
ด้าน Mr.Liu Jiawei กล่าวว่า "CASME มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มาเยือน ส.อ.ท. และได้หารือความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้ เราเชื่อว่า ความร่วมมือระหว่างสององค์กรจะช่วยส่งเสริมให้ SME ไทยและจีนมีศักยภาพและยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันได้สูงขึ้นในตลาดโลก"
ทั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือถึงแนวทางความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรม อาทิ การจัดกิจกรรมจับคู่ธุรกิจ การจัดสัมมนาและนิทรรศการ การแลกเปลี่ยนผู้ประกอบการ และการจัดตั้งศูนย์ข้อมูล SME ไทย-จีน
การหารือในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่าง SME ไทยและจีน ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของทั้งสองประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Mr. Arun Iamsuri, Chairman of the Thailand-China Economic and Investment Institute and Vice Chairman of the Small and Medium Enterprises in Manufacturing Institute (SMI) of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Dr. Soranan Jiwasuryat, Vice Chairman of the SMI, Mr. Supachai Chaiwilai, a committee member of the Thailand-China Economic and Investment Institute and SMI, and Ms. Yotsara Limpaitoon, Assistant Secretary of the Thailand-China Economic and Investment Institute, welcomed Mr. Liu Jiawei, Deputy Secretary-General of Legal Affairs of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME), to discuss cooperation between the two parties at the FTI.
The purpose of this discussion was to promote cooperation between Thai and Chinese SMEs in various areas, such as information and knowledge exchange, trade and investment promotion, technology and innovation development, as well as building a cooperative network between entrepreneurs from both countries.
Mr. Arun stated, "FTI recognizes the importance of cooperation with CASME, which plays a significant role in promoting and developing SMEs in China. This meeting serves as a good opportunity to exchange views and seek mutual cooperation beneficial to the SMEs of both countries."
Mr. Liu Jiawei stated, "CASME is very pleased to visit FTI and to discuss cooperation at this time. We believe that the cooperation between the two organizations will enhance the potential of Thai and Chinese SMEs and elevate their competitiveness in the global market."
During this meeting, both parties discussed concrete cooperation initiatives, such as organizing business matching activities, seminars and exhibitions, exchanging entrepreneurs, and establishing a Thai-Chinese SME information center.
This discussion represents an important step towards strengthening cooperation between Thai and Chinese SMEs, which will lead to sustainable economic development for both countries.
