เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 6 พฤษภาคม 2568 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) มอบหมายให้นายสุชาติ จันทรานาคราช รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดและลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) โครงการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพคนพิการและผู้ดูแลคนพิการสู่ความยั่งยืน โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายวราวุธ ศิลปอาชา รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ (รมว.พม.) และนายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน (รมว.รง.) ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ณ ห้องประชุมกระทรวงแรงงาน ชั้น 5 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
การลงนามครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นภายใต้ความร่วมมือระหว่าง 14 หน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐ เอกชน และภาคประชาสังคม ได้แก่ กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กรมการจัดหางาน กรมส่งเสริมและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตคนพิการ หอการค้าไทยและสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) สภาอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย รวมถึงสมาคมคนพิการต่างๆ เช่น สมาคมคนตาบอดแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมคนพิการแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมคนหูหนวกแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมผู้ปกครองคนพิการทางสติปัญญาแห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมผู้ปกครองบุคคลออทิซึม (ไทย) สมาคมเพื่อผู้บกพร่องทางจิตแห่งประเทศไทย และสมาคมสภาคนพิการทุกประเภทแห่งประเทศไทย
การเข้าร่วมโครงการครั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลไปยังสมาชิกผู้ประกอบการ เพื่อส่งเสริมการจัดหางานและการบรรจุงานให้แก่คนพิการและผู้ดูแลคนพิการให้เป็นไปตามพระราชบัญญัติส่งเสริมและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตคนพิการ พ.ศ. 2550 และที่แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสร้างโอกาสให้คนพิการและผู้ดูแลคนพิการมีอาชีพที่มั่นคง และเสริมสร้างคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีอย่างยั่งยืนในสังคมต่อไป
On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Mr. Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), assigned Mr. Suchart Chantharanakraj, FTI Vice Chairman, to participate in the opening ceremony and sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the project aimed at promoting and developing vocational skills for persons with disabilities and their caregivers towards sustainability. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MoSDHS), and Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of the Ministry of Labour (MoL), who served as co-presidents of the ceremony and also signed the MOU at the Ministry of Labour Conference Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour Building.
This signing took place under the collaboration between 14 agencies from the public, private, and civil society sectors, including the Department of Skill Development, the Department of Employment, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Thai Chambers of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the Thailand Tourism Industry Council, the Thai SME Confederation, as well as various disability associations such as the Association of the Blind of Thailand, the Association for the Disabled of Thailand, the Deaf Association of Thailand, the Association of Parents of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities of Thailand, the Association of Parents of Autistic Individuals (Thailand), the Association for the Mentally Disabled of Thailand, and the Association of All Types of Persons with Disabilities of Thailand.
In participating in this project, FTI plays a significant role in supporting the dissemination of information to its member entrepreneurs to promote job placement and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment and Development Act B.E. 2550 (2007) and its amendments. The aim is to create stable employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and their caregivers and to enhance their quality of life sustainably in society.
